When Will Ric Flair's Legacy End?

Ric Flair made a grand appearance and returned to WWE Raw on this past Monday night. As he spoke to the crowd, many anxious fans began to think the worst, that the Nature Boy was hanging up his wrestling boots. Flair still had the "Wooo" in him and told everyone he's not quitting, retiring or leaving. Vince McMahon came down to the ring to crash the celebration and let Flair know he would be wrestling on Vince's terms. Vince told Flair he's welcome to continue with WWE as long as he's winning matches. If he loses, he's done.

This would raise the serious question of how long can Flair go on winning for? He was able to beat Randy Orton this past Monday, but only with the help of a Y2J distraction from ringside. You'd have to think that Vince is going to throw large competitors at Flair to try to get rid of him. Possibly he'll have an encounter with The Great Khali or Mark Henry. The best guess would be Flair is going to have a win streak all the way up to the grand stage of wrestling, Wrestlemania 24. Most likely he has an epic battle there which ends his career and maybe "passes the torch" to a new deserving superstar, or one of his longtime friends, such as Shawn Michaels or Triple H. It would only seem fitting.

Another question raised is how Flair came back to the Raw roster. He was a part of the draft where he was sent from Raw over to Smackdown and was there 6 months ago. It seems as if the draft was less meaningful in that respect, and that some guys get to pick and choose where they wrestle. However, if one wrestler deserves that right, it's definitely Ric Flair, an all-time great champion in professional wrestling. His legacy will definitely live on even after his last appearance in the squared circle.

All of this talk of Flair being past his prime is bull. He's the greatest wrestler to ever walk the face of this earth. Custom made from head to toe. He will never die! And you don't have to like it but you better learn to love it. Diamonds are forever and so's Ric Flair!

I really do think Ric Flair will die with wrestling...which is a good thing because I never get tired of Flair. I mean all Flair can do is wrestle because if you try to get him to be a manager he's gonna overshadow the wrestler because his legacy is so huge. So if Ric does actually as he said on Raw dies in the center of the ring...it would tragic but it'll be the way he wanted to go out.
