Here you'll find match-by-match recaps and results from the big event featuring Elimination Chambers to determine the World Heavyweight and WWE Champions, as well as 3 other quality matches.

In a dark match prior to the scheduled PPV card, Melina successfully defend the WWE Womens Championship against Beth Phoenix.

Smackdown Elimination Chamber
WWE Championship

The first match of the night saw WWE Champion Edge defending against Undertaker, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov and the Big Show. In an early shocker in the chamber, Jeff Hardy pinned Edge to eliminate him from the match, guaranteeing their would be a brand new WWE champion. With Vladimir Kozlov and Jeff already in the ring, Big Show entered the match from his cell next, making it a threeway battle. Kozlov gained the advantage after headbutting Big Show battering ram style. Big Show and Kozlov continued to battle as Jeff Hardy recovered in the corner of the ring. Triple H's cell finally opened and The Game came in to clear everyone, taking control of the match. Eventually it became Triple H vs. Big Show and Jeff Hardy vs Kozlov. Show managed to slam Triple H hard to the mat. Just then, Undertaker's cell opened and Taker becomes the last man into the match. Kozlov tried to take Taker to the corner and punch away at him, but Taker turned it into the Last Ride. Undertaker was able to make the pin, eliminating Kozlov from the match second. Next up, Big Show went after Hardy who climbed up onto one of the cages. Undertaker went up to Superplex Big Show from the top rope, and pinned Big Show for the third elimination. It's down to Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy vs.Triple H for the WWE Title.

Jeff Hardy then used the Undertaker as a springboard so he could jump onto Triple H on the outside. As Jeff returned into the ring Undertaker was able to grab him and hit the Tombstone Piledriver for a pinfall. Jeff Hardy was eliminated leaving Triple H versus Undertaker for the title. Triple H hit the Spinebuster and went for the Pedigree, but Taker countered and hit the Tombstone. As Taker went for the 3 count, Triple H got a foot on the bottom rope. Both men got back up and HHH hit the Pedigree, with Triple H kicking out at 2. The two men continued battling furiously as it went to the corner of the ring. Undertaker attempted the Last Ride on HHH but The Game was quick to reverse into the Pedigree. HHH captured the 3 count and becomes your new WWE Champion!

Winner: Triple H wins the Elimination Chamber by pinning The Undertaker to become new WWE Champion.

Shane McMahon vs. Randy Orton
No Holds Barred

Early on it seemed Orton had the advantage after multiple punches to Shane. Shane delivered a shot of his own and then a baseball slide dropkick to knock Orton down outside the ring. Shane began to retrieve items, setting up a table near the apron and grabbing a trash can. Orton had recovered and beat up Shane back inside the ring, using kicks to his chest and a belly-to-belly suplex. With Shane subdued, Orton removed a turnbuckle cover and eventually whipped Shane into the turnbuckle. Orton taunted the crowd after kicking Shane outside, but Shane grabbed a Kendo stick and clocked Orton in the head, then delivered multiple shots to the Legend Killer.

With Orton outside the ring, Shane began pulling everything off the commentators' table and grabbed a TV set to bash on Orton's skull. Shane left a busted open Orton on the table and went to head to the top of the ring corner. Out of nowhere, Orton's Legacy members, Rhodes and Dibiase entered the ring to attack Shane! Rhodes tried to hit Shane with a chair but Shane avoided, causing it to hit Dibiase instead. Shane then gained the advantage as he set up Rhodes in the corner with a trash can in front of him. Shane jumped from corner to corner to kick the can into Rhodes for the Coast to Coast. Shane went to the corner for an elbow shot to Orton on the commentary table, but Orton rolled out of the way causing Shane to crash through the table. Orton got into the ring still bleeding and told Dibiase to take Rhodes backstage to make sure he was ok. The action continued in the ring with Orton beating up Shane for several near pinfalls. Eventually, Shane landed a chair shot to Orton's head. As Orton was getting back to his feet, Shane charged at him. Orton caught Shane with the RKO to finish off Shane in the grueling match. Orton limped backstage afterwards without delivering a Punt kick to Shane after the bell.

Winner: Randy Orton wins via pinfall over Shane McMahon.

Finlay vs. Jack Swagger
ECW Title Match

With the match underway both men used on-the-mat technical wrestling here, as Finlay used a single-leg Boston Crab to work on Swagger's leg early. Swagger gained control and took Finlay down into an arm hold. Swagger continued working on the arm injury until Finlay countered him after a scoop slam. Finlay failed at the early pin attempt getting only a 2 count. Swagger managed to regain momentum as he had Finlay down in the corner, then rushed at him with his knee. Finlay was able to roll up Swagger into a pinfall attempt, with Swagger kicking out at 2. Swagger started to take control yet again with Finlay in the corner. Finlay was able to regain control with a clothesline just before Hornswoggle showed up at ringside. Finlay stayed in control nailing clotheslines and a leg drop on Swagger but only could get a 2 count. Hornswoggle got onto the apron to provide some distraction, but Finlay accidentally ran into him sending Hornswoggle flying to the outside. Swagger took control after the incident when he nailed the Gut Wrench Powerbomb to win it, retaining his ECW Title.

Winner: Jack Swagger wins via pinfall over Finlay to retain the ECW Title.

Shawn Michaels vs. JBL
All or Nothing Match

JBL arrived to the ring first followed by a pumped up Shawn Michaels who received cheers from the crowd. Shown looking worried in the crowd was his wife, Rebecca Michaels. Early on in the match HBK began unloading with punches on his employer, with JBL eventually getting to the outside to recover. Outside JBL taunted Michaels with a chair, daring him to hit him so he'd get disqualified and lose. Back inside the ring, HBK was able to apply a Figure Four and a Crossface, as well as attempt several near pinfalls. JBL was eventually able to whip HBK into the corner, sending HBK to the outside hard. JBL went to the outside to work on Michaels even more before throwing him back inside. HBK was able to escape 2 near pinfalls by JBL inside after JBL hit elbow drops and pummeled Michaels. After the two fought on the corner, Shawn shoved JBL down to the mat but missed on his elbow drop attempt.

JBL was able to hit his trademark Clothesline from Hell on Michaels but luckily HBK kicked out at 2 yet again, with his wife Rebecca still looking concerned. The two continued their battle with JBL dumping Shawn outside the ring then going over to taunt Michaels' wife. Rebecca eventually punched JBL in the face as JBL tried to taunt her with Michaels' beat up face. From there HBK took over as he brought JBL back into the ring for a huge forearm, right and left punches and an elbow drop off the top rope. HBK hit his Sweet Chin Music to win it, saving himself and Rebecca from becoming JBL's property! Rebecca cried happily in the crowd as Michaels celebrated in the ring.

Winner: Shawn Michaels wins the All or Nothing match via pinfall over JBL.

Raw Elimination Chamber
World Heavyweight Championship

As the participants made their way to the ring, Edge rushed out to attack Kofi Kingston, bashing his head off the steel stairs. With Kofi seemingly knocked out, Edge entered the chamber and locked himself into one of the pods. Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio started the match as the first two competitors squaring off. The two battled it out with Kane smirking from inside his pod. Kane became the next entrant as his pod opened, and Kane began to unload on his two opponents. Kane began to punch away at Mysterio then used a dropkick but couldn't capture a pinfall. From here Jericho and Kane began trading punches. Mysterio eventually climbed up onto one of the glass cages and jumped off onto Kane then grabbed the first pinfall, eliminating Kane from the competition.

With Kane out of it, in came Mysterio's nemesis, Mike Knox. Knox went after Rey but also leveled Jericho with a boot to the face. Knox continued to work on Rey and after some punishment outside the ring threw Rey back inside. He hit a huge backbreaker on Rey, but suddenly Jericho surprised Knox as he hit the Codebreaker to eliminate him! The next wrestler released was Edge, but before he could exit his pod, Mysterio attacked him then slammed him multiple times. The fight continued with Cena entering next and going after Edge. Cena went for his finisher, but Jericho hit him with a Codebreaker, followed by Mysterio's 619 and then a Spear by Edge. The champ was eliminated leaving just 3 men to battle for the WWE Title.

Jericho was the next man eliminated as Rey hit the 619 on him, then countered his Lion Tamer into a pinfall. With just Edge and Rey remaining the two men gave their all to try to win the match. Rey avoided a quick Spear attempt by Edge and tried for the pinfall. The two men fought on the outside with Rey landing an impressive backwards 619 on Edge who was on the 2nd rope. The two were back outside as Rey charged at Edge. Edge was able to send Rey into the glass cage, then as they re-entered the ring hit a Spear on Rey to win back the World Heavyweight Title.

Winner: Edge wins via pinfall over Rey Mysterio to win the Raw Elimination Chamber and become new World Heavyweight Champion.

Couldn't agree with you more j.lo, it seems we're right back where we were when both titles were moved to Smackdown last year, Edge and HHH, deja vu...Looks like Stephanie may bring HHH to Raw again to take care of Orton, or Orton may force the move so he can go for the WWE title at Wrestlemania...Unless WWE has something else up its sleeve..

I am so freaking tired of edge now i have to see his face on raw. He gets all these championship reigns for nothing. This sucks now Edge is going to wrestlemania. At least he doesnt have that stupid beard.
Why do they give Edge so many tittle reigns its geting rediculus now. but his pattern seems to be winning at every other ppv.

And I really wish Jeff would return to raw but thats likly not going to happen for a while.

CT - I think it's more likely for HHH to come over to Raw now to be part of the whole Orton vs. the McMahon's storyline..Edge probably will stay put on Smackdown since Vickie Guerrero backs him up there..
