Raw Anniversary: Hogan & Austin
WWE legends Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin will both be a part of the special 3 hour Raw anniversary special this coming Monday. Hulk Hogan is part of the upcoming NBC show "American Gladiators" in which competitors compete with various gladiator characters in different feats. Austin may still be promoting "The Condemned" if it is possible to promote any more at this point.
Kevin Eck of The Baltimore Sun blogs about the potential for Hogan to return to WWE and even Wrestlemania. It may make sense for Hogan as he wants to promote the new Gladiators show. Hogan also said in a recent interview that he wanted to create his own pro wrestling league to compete with WWE. So there may be all sorts of motives for a Hogan return. The Miami Herald has a story discussing Stone Cold Austin and how he is promoting the Raw anniversary. Austin will be a part of the big event and the article is interesting in that it has Austin's critiques of several current wrestlers in the WWE, in terms of their wrestling and microphone skills.
Austin has said he's done wrestling but he still makes appearances here or there. most recently was the beer bath he gave to Santino and Maria on an episode of Raw. Fans and Hogan have indicated an Austin vs. Hogan match is a must-see, but as of right now it's highly unlikely.
Raw's 15th Anniversary show will be December 10th at 8PM EST on USA.
