The WWE Hall of Fame List
There are many legends currently in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Fame. You will notice that not only WWE Superstars appear on this list, but also sports stars such as William Perry and Pete Rose (who was banned from baseball's Hall of Fame). Both sports stars had roles in Wrestlemania history. The Superbowl champion Chicago Bear, William "Refrigerator" Perry, was part of the first-ever WWE Superstar and NFL Player Battle Royal at Wrestlemania 2. The Fridge is credited with eliminating two WWE Hall of Famers in that one match: Tony Atlas & Big John Studd.
Pete Rose may not be inducted into the Major Baseball hall of Fame, but has a place in the WWE Hall of Fame. He has been a guest ring announcer at WrestleMania XIV, WrestleMania XV, and WrestleMania 2000, and has even been manhandled by Kane (when Rose was dressed up as the San Diego chicken mascot). The following Hall of Fame list also includes posthumous inductees, including two late female wrestler/divas with Sensational Sheri and Fabulous Moolah. Vince McMahon also appears on the list, but it is the Senior McMahon who is responsible for WWE coming about. Vince Sr. took over his father's Capitol Wrestling early on. When the Capitol organization went by the wayside, the World Wide Wrestling Federation (later to become WWE) was officially born.
Here's the many wrestling legends and personalities who are currently in WWE's Hall of Fame.
