Linda and Hulk Hogan to Divorce?

According to the Associated Press, Hulk Hogan's wife Linda has filed for a divorce. A newspaper reported the story this past Friday, and Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) told the St. Petersburg Times he was unaware she had filed for divorce. Pinellas County court records showed paperwork had been submitted this past Tuesday to initiate the divorce proceedings.

According to AP, Hogan was definitely taken back by the news:

"Thank you for the great information," he told the reporter.

Family spokesman Adam Handelsman referred calls to another spokesman, who did not immediately respond Friday night.

"My wife has been in California for about three weeks. ... Holy smokes," Bollea later told the newspaper. "Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me."

The Hogans have been involved in the news quite a bit lately. Whether it's the reality show on VH1 "Hogan Knows Best", Nick's car crash which he was arrested for, or the sale of their 12 million dollar home in Miami. Hulkster is also set to be a part of a new "American Gladiators" style show coming later this year or early next.

Hogans Splitting Up?

The most recent season of "Hogan Knows Best" on VH1 has included trips to the marriage counselor for Hulk Hogan and his wife Linda. Apparently, there are now rumors that the two may be very close to divorce. The arguments center around how they raise their kids and have become so heated that Linda even walked off the reality show at one point. Entertainmentwise.com, a UK entertainment site offers the following:

"The problems are said to have started when filming for the VH1 show began, one friend said "They have different beliefs on how to raise kids. Brooke started her music career, and they started getting into fights."

Arguments that appeared on the show surrounded how Brooke should be treated, and how late she could stay out with boyfriends. It has been claimed that another area of tension is surrounding Hulk?s wish to get back into wrestling, something which wife Linda vetoed, fearing he could get hurt.

At one point, the source revealed, the arguments got so bad, "Linda got so fed up she quit the VH1 show. She just walked off. No one knows what started that fight but it was serious."

Hulk Hogan Sells Home

Hulk Hogan's Miami home finally has a buyer; movie director, Michael Bay. Bay has directed box office hits such as Pearl Harbor, Arnageddon and the recent summer hit, Transformers.

From Canada.com:

"Bay’s new property boasts six bedrooms in the main house and two full guest apartments. There are plenty of windows and high ceilings and an elliptical floating staircase in the front foyer. The main house has a media room and large roof top terrace.

The property includes a five-car garage, pool and cabana, and a state of the art security system. There is also direct boat access on Biscayne Bay."

This would make you wonder now if Hulk Hogan will also have some new movie roles coming his way from the top Hollywood director. Hogan currently appears on season 4 of VH1's reality show "Hogan Knows Best". The home was recently robbed while Hogan and his family were moving, with $100,000 reported as stolen.

Hogan Knows Grills

VH1's reality show Hogan Knows Best is now in its fourth season. The main focuses of the show are Hulk and his wife Linda's marital problems as well as daughter Brooke's struggle to get her music career more of a jumpstart and become financially independent.

Despite the struggles, Hogan knows grills and is becoming quite an entrepreneur. He entered into the infommerical grill arena (which George Foreman is currently dominating) and made a good bit of sales in the 1st 24 hours of the Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill's release. The grill which sells for $24.95 made over a million in sales so far.

From buddytv.com (sources: PR Web and VH1):

" Hulk Hogan may be experiencing many challenges with his family, but the 53-year-old semi-retired professional wrestler is doing very well as an entrepreneur. On July 26, he and Tri-Star Products teamed up with QVC to sell his new kitchen appliance, "Hulk Hogan Ultimate Grill." Over 11,400 units were sold in 24 hours, generating more than $1.1 million dollars in revenue.

"All around, things are going very well for me right now," the Hogan Knows Best star said. "My Ultimate Grill is selling very well; my family and I recently premiered our fourth season of Hogan Knows Best, which remains one of VH1's highest rated programs; and my kids are having a lot of success in their careers. Thank you to all the fans that watched me on QVC and called in to place orders!" "

It's also been said by Hogan in a recent interview with the Sun UK that he is trying to raise up enough money to start up his own wrestling business, which he would bill as steroid free. Hogan would be taking on TNA and WWE and attempting to find success in an industry that many believe is in a downward spin. (source: Sun UK site).
