Fox News Reports on Benoit

Fox News reported on the deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy. and son Daniel, on their Fox and Friends news show this AM. They had Bill Smith, former Mayor of Edmonton, on for a live interview via phone. The former Mayor discussed how this was a terrible tragedy and they had been so proud of Benoit's accomplishments in Edmonton. They discussed his nickname of "The Wolverine" and how large a fan-following he had in Canada and even had a "Chris Benoit" day in his honor in Edmonton.

Fox's reporters mentioned how Benoit did not attend the WWE Pay Per View he was scheduled for on Sunday Night. They also noted that police believe Benoit killed his family over the weekend and then himself on Monday. Bill Smith said apparently something must have tripped in Benoit's mind if it is true he was the perpetrator in this awful crime.

Fox News said Autopsy results may be released later on today.
