Details on Benoit Death May Come Tuesday
Details are still coming out regarding the death of professional wrestler Chris Benoit. From the Hartford Courant:
" FAYETTEVILLE, Ga -- Pro wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and 7-year-old son were found slain Monday at their Fayette County home, authorities said.
Sheriff's Lt. Tommy Pope said the three were found about 2:30 p.m., but he would release no other details about the deaths at the house near White Water Country Club.
Pope said the deaths were being investigated as homicides, but said the cause of death awaits autopsy results on Tuesday.
He would not say how the bodies were discovered, or who found them."
Benoit was scheduled to compete in WWE's Pay Per View last night "Vengeance Night of Champions" in Houston, TX. Benoit could not make the event and the WWE said it was due to a "family crisis" he had to attend.
Tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, was originally planned to revolve around the recent WWE storyline of "the alleged demise of Mr. McMahon". Instead Vince McMahon appeared in an empty arena and announced the 3 hour show was being dedicated to the memory of Chris Benoit. More details expected to develop in the coming days on this recent tragedy.
