Sandman Lawsuit
A fan from an ECW event is suing Sandman for an alleged attack which caused her humiliation and injury.
From prowrestling.com:
"We now have more details on Karlene Boutwell’s lawsuit against The Sandman. Boutwell, seeking $100,000.00 in damages, alleges that Sandman, "while bleeding from a self-imposed wound to his head, grabbed her, picked her up, and threw her, not only injuring her back and aggravating pre-existing injuries, but also exposing her to blood and humiliating her."
WWE has denied all claims and have even provided footage of Sandman’s entrance in order to get Boutwell to drop her lawsuit. WWE has left the footageavailable online, so you can watch it for yourself to see if you think he commits assault and battery.
WWE also notes that they would not be liable for any “attack” since Sandman is contracted independently and is not an employee of the company. The lawsuit was filed by Boutwell in April and will not be heard before a Judge before spring or summer 2008."
