Benoit Diary Revelations

Although the entries have not been made public, a lawyer who is representing Chris Benoit's father has reported on the diary that Chris kept, saying Benoit "was a tortured soul two years" before the murders occurred.

From Associated Press:

The attorney (Cary Ichter) says the journal was a series of "open letters" to his best friend, a fellow wrestler who died in 2005 of an enlarged heart. He says the notes show Benoit was depressed and that, at one point, Benoit tells his friend, "I will be with you soon."

Many wrestlers who have spoken about knowing Chris personally claimed he had a quiet side and demeanor, which could indicate he was keeping a lot of personal problems and stress inside. The demands of being in the wrestling business, coupled with the drug test findings and the recently revealed brain test results can definitely give plenty of evidence that Benoit was suffering many issues together. The true reasons for why Chris committed these acts will probably never be known.

I wish that his journal entries would be made public because maybe it would present his fans some kind of insight in how their once hero could turn monster. That's just my opinion though.
