USA Today/Nightline on WWE & Benoit
ABC's Nightline had an opening story Thursday night discussing the recent Chris Benoit brain tests with doctors and others presenting the idea that concussions influenced Benoit's actions in the double-murder suicide. Benoit's father, Michael, appeared as well as former WWE star, Christopher Nowinski. Nowinski discussed the similarities in the brain scans of Benoit's brain as well as four NFL players who had committed suicide. He said when he heard about the bibles Benoit had placed near each body it raised red flags because several of the NFL players who committed suicide had also become religious before their deaths.
