News: Brooke, ECW & WWE Business

As one diva's gained, one is lost, as the WWE/ECW has released Brooke Adams of Extreme Expose. WWE.com reported that they had, "come to terms on the release of ECW Diva Brooke as of November 1". This makes you wonder if the newly crowned 2007 Diva Search winner, Eve, will replace her on Extreme Expose, which has basically been a dancer's role with not much wrestling. Eve is a former dancer for the Los Angeles Clippers.

In further ECW news, December 6th is being considered a "Thursday Night War", as ECW is set to air on Sci Fi at 10PM EST, rather than its normal Tuesday night slot. The show will be going head to head with TNA which airs at the same time on Spike TV. It should prove interesting which show wins the ratings war there, even though ECW is not the strongest of the WWE TV offerings. The reason for ECW airing at the different time slot is due to a mini-series marathon running that Tuesday on Sci Fi, bumping ECW from the time slot.

According to CNNMoney.com, WWE has reported its third quarter net income of $8.5 million, which went down from the $9.2 million reported 1 year ago. Revenue for WWE rose during the past year from $93.2 million up to $108.1 million.

Raw vs. Smackdown 2008 is due out in under a week. IGN.com has a full review of the PSP game. Team Xbox has Xbox 360 screenshots here. The game's official release date is November 6th.
