Wrestler Kofi Kingston officially made his WWE debut on Tuesday January 22nd on ECW, and became the first Jamaican wrestler in WWE history. He defeated Dave Owens via pinfall in the matchup. He started in pro wrestling back in 2005 and wrestled mainly in New England. Kingston worked in New England Championship Wrestling, Millenium Wrestling Federation, Eastern Wrestling Alliance and Chaotic Wrestling. He signed a contract with WWE in 2006 and was sent to Deep South Wrestling in Georgia. He lost his debut match, which was a dark match against none other than Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP. Kingston participated in more dark matches before Raw shows against the likes of Charlie Haas, Trevor Murdoch, Shelton Benjamin and Val Venis.
Kingston went on to work with Floida Championship Wrestling before e was eventually called up to the WWE Roster. His theme music for various promotions was the remix of This is Why I'm Hot performed by Baby Cham & Junior Reed. Kingston now appears weekly on the ECW show on Sci-Fi.

This Kofi 'Kingston' guy is a fully-blooded Ghanaian, born in Kumasi, Ghana to two fully-blooded Ghanaians. His parents took him to the US when he was only 11 months old. If for nothing at all, he shd be fighting under the American flag and not Jamaica. This son of Africa should be very much ashamed of himself!!!
