WWE Suspends Afa Anoai


Just a week or so after WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy was suspended for 60 days (his second violation of WWE policy), wrestler Afa Anoai, a development talent of WWE, was suspended on Thursday, March 20th, 2008.

According to StreetInsider.com:

World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE: WWE) today announced that, in accordance with its Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy, WWE has suspended Afa Anoai, a developmental talent in the WWE farm system (Florida Championship Wrestling), for 30 days for his first violation of the company's policy.

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in developing, producing, licensing, marketing, and selling television and pay-per-view event programming and live events, and consumer products featuring its World Wrestling Entertainment brands worldwide.
