Smackdown Preview 03.21.08

Last week on Smackdown, a 3 on 2 handicap cage match was the main event, when WWE Superstar Edge, Ryder & Hawkins faced Shawn Michaels & Ric Flair. Chavo Guerrero was added to the match by Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero, making it a 4 on 2 match for the WWE Superstars. Just when it appeared Edge and his team had decimated Michaels and Flair, the arena went dark and the Undertaker appeared in the ring. Taker had his sights set on his Wrestlemania 24 opponent, Edge, but Ryder, Hawkins and then Chavo Guerrero were able to attack Taker, allowing Edge to escape the cage. This Friday night, Undertaker will be taking on the ECW champion, Chavo Guerrero, in a non-title bout. The tune-up match will also see Undertaker looking for revenge. What sort of message will Undertaker send to Edge just a week or so before WM24?

In tag team action, the team of Jesse and Festus will get another shot at the WWE Tag team titles. The Miz and John Morrison will put their titles on the line against the quick athleticism of Jesse and raw, monstrous power of Festus. This past Tuesday's ECW saw Jesse, Festus and CM Punk defeat the tag champs along with Shelton Benjamin. Will Jesse and Festus be able to achieve the tag team titles early in their career?

There will also be a continuation of Smackdown's weekly divas competition. Last week saw Maryse eliminated, leaving Michelle McCool, Cherry, WWE Diva Victoria and Eve Torres to compete. Which of the lovely WWE Divas will be eliminated this Friday night and which will win tonight's competition?
