WM25 Ticket Date Postponed to 10.11.08

The grand 25th anniversary of Wrestlemania will take place in 2009 in Texas, and it's sure to be a top selling event, most likely eclipsing last year's record breaking ticket sales. Recently an announcement was made regarding the first day WM 25 tickets will go on sale. The sale has been postponed due to the recent Hurricane issues plaguing the Gulf Coast.

As seen on WWE.com, Unforgiven and Raw this week, tickets for WrestleMania XXV were originally scheduled to go on sale Sept. 20. However, out of concern for the residents of the Gulf Coast of Texas as it pertains to Hurricane Ike, and the recent disaster area declaration made by Texas Governor Rich Perry, WWE has chosen to postpone ticket sales for WrestleMania XXV until Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. CT.
