Cena Makes the Rounds

John Cena is currently making the rounds to promote his new movie "12 Rounds". Tuesday's schedule included an appearance on G4's "Attack of the Show" and Jimmy Fallon's Late Night Show on NBC.

On "Attack of the Show", Cena gave insight into just how hectic it was for him to shoot his scenes for "12 Rounds" while still living up to his wrestling commitments. Cena said he'd be filming Monday through Friday, do WWE shows on the weekends. On Mondays for Raw, Cena said he would film for 12 Rounds from 6AM until about 4PM or so then board a chartered jet to fly to wherever Raw was being done. Cena mentioned he would sometimes not arrive to Raw until 9:45PM EST, but still was part of the show. Now that's commitment. Cena discusses how he was inspired to do action films by previous action stars like Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Cena also mentioned he wants to do more movies and is crossing his fingers for a possible new movie project in May. Wednesday's episode of "Attack of the Show" on G4 at 7PM EST will feature a behind the scenes look at "12 Rounds" with Cena.

On Jimmy Fallon's show, Cena spoke about heading into Wrestlemania 25, and just completing the 826th episode of Monday Night Raw. A clip waas shown from the movie "12 Rounds" which featured Cena trying to stop a runaway trolley as it went down the street out of control. Cena spoke about doing his own stunts for the new movie, and how great it was to film in New Orleans where the residents are proud to still be there in the aftermath of Katrina. They also had a series of comedy sketches displaying John Cena in different fake movie roles including "Uncle Babysitter" and "inCarcerated" where Cena played the role of a car.
