Can WWE be Sued for Vince Death?
Darren Rovell of CNBC's "Sports Biz with Darren Rovell" posts an interesting analysis/commentary on the Vince McMahon death story. Rovell discusses the idea that a stockholders could possibly sue the WWE for this latest storyline and the misleading reports on WWE.com.
From CNBC.com:
"Well, just days after announcing they were overhauling their marketing strategy, WWE somehow came up with another idea to get attention in their battle with the likes of mixed martial arts. Fake their chairman's death.
Last Monday, after "Vince McMahon Appreciation Night," he stepped into a limo, which promptly exploded. WWE.com then announced that he was presumed dead since no body was recovered. The organization then went to YouTube and pulled the video, most likely to prevent some sort of video splicing analysis."

I think anyone who truly fell that hard for it deserved it, of course it was a publicity stunt, WWE has done stuff similar before and it is all in good natured fun. GET OVER IT. :D Many happy fake deaths to you.
Stockholders should actually be ELATED by this new storyline. WWE ratings are up and people are talking about this.

i agree with the fact it was a publicity stunt but think of the kids that watch the show some are to young to understand these things they just like the wrestling. do they really deserve it?
My husband is an up an commin wrestler and I know how important story line is. How ever I belive that doing the 10 bell silute was taking it to far. The 10 bell silute is to honor those who have truly died. Doin it for story line takes away the true meanning and honor it reppresents.
