Diva Week in Review 6.17.07
A week full of accusations and surprises for our WWE Divas, here's the show by show recap:
RAW: Candice & Mickie James teamed up to face Melina and newcomer to Raw, Jillian. This was a tune-up match for Candice and Melina who are heading into a title match at Vengeance this Sunday. It was also Mickie James return to her hometown in Richmond, VA. Maria continued to oogle over Santino Morella, as William Regal tried to make his move on her.
ECW: We saw Extreme Expose in the lockerroom discussing ECW newcomer, The Miz. Brooke seemed smitten with Miz and asked her girls Layla and Kelly to hook her up. After Brooke left, Layla asked Kelly if it's true Kelly was with Mike the past weekend, and Kelly tells her "mind your business".
Smackdown: Edge accuses his guest, diva Torrie Wilson, of blowing up Vince McMahon's limo. MVP comes out to assist Edge in the accusations and asks Torrie to take a lie detector test. Ric Flair comes down to save Torrie. Also, Smackdown GM, Teddy Long, proposed in the ring to his girlfriend Kristal. Despite Kristal running out of the ring in tears, she later accepted Teddy's proposal backstage and put the ring on her finger. Congrats to Kristal and Teddy on this news!
Should be another exciting week for the WWE divas coming up. Will we see the debut of Victoria on the Smackdown roster? What will happen with Extreme Expose and The Miz? Will we see a new Women's champion with Melina losing to Candice at Vengeance? Stay tuned...
