Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 Preview

Smackdown! vs Raw 2008 is set to hit stores and online retailers later this year. The title will be available on the Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Sony PSP/Nintendo DS handhelds.

There's been talk that there are debates going on over whether or not to include Chris Benoit as a character in the game, and that Vince McMahon has been mulling over the release date (source: WWE Geek Blog). Total Video Games (totalvideogames.com) had the following verdict of the game after recently reviewing it on several game consoles:

"No doubt all you WWE fans will be queuing up to get your hands on Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 later this year. Will you be disappointed? Well, if you're a fan of previous Smackdown Vs. Raw games, probably not. However, there are certainly still concerns for the series at this stage, particularly the fact that the Xbox 360 build looks and feels much better than the PS3 version."
