WWE Offers Free Drug & Alcohol Counseling
WWE will now offer free drug and alcohol counseling to its past performers. From Newsday.com:
"The Stamford-based company has sent more than 500 letters offering to pay for drug or alcohol rehabilitation at a certified treatment center chosen by the WWE for any past performer who asks for assistance.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon said the company recognizes that some of its performers may have drug and alcohol dependencies. He says the company is reaching out to help those who need it."
Another good move made by the WWE ahead of the Congressional hearings to show they are doing all they can to address the needs of former and present superstars.
