WWE Raw Preview 10.08.07
Tonight's Raw features the beginning of a title reign for the new WWE champion as well as fallout from the various matches held at No Mercy Sunday night. Two new champions emerged from the event with Beth Phoenix becoming Women's champ, and Randy Orton leaving as WWE champion.
The major news heading into Raw is that Randy Orton is now the WWE champion. Orton was first presented with the title at the start of No Mercy by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Triple H came out to make an early challenge of the champ, and won the belt in the opening match of No Mercy! However, the night was far from over for Triple H.
Triple H was forced to defend the WWE title twice after winning it, thanks to Vince McMahon. First, Triple H had to compete in his already scheduled match with Umaga. The Game was able to withstand Umaga's attacks and won the match using the Pedigree to retain his title. Triple H was then ordered to be a part of the main event, the "Last Man Standing" match with Randy Orton. Orton managed to RKO Triple H and leave him outside the ring for a 10 count to became a 3 time WWE champion! Will Triple H be available on Raw to challenge Orton again? What will Randy Orton have to say about his title reign? Will any other WWE stars challenge the new champ?

Don't forget about that crap Finlay pulled on Ray Mysterio .. that was pretty lame .. although some people thought it was the best part of the night ;)
