Raw Preview 05/05/13

On last week's Raw, WWE Champion John Cena attempted to do his part to compete, as he teamed up with Team Hell No to take on The Shield.  Originally, Ryback had been scheduled as the partner for the tag team champs, but backed out, saying he didn't trust them.  Once Ryback left the building, Cena said despite his injury, he'd compete.  Later on, that injury came back to play a part in the match, as Cena didn't have the strength to hoist up one of The Shield members with his hurt heel.  Shield took the match, and Ryback got to look on as Cena was checked on to finish off the show.  Will these two cross paths again on tonight's episode of Raw before their Extreme Rules match?

Also on last week's Raw, Alberto Del Rio's personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, was able to win a Triple Threat match against Zeb Colter and Big E Langston.  With the victory, Del Rio was allowed to choose the stipulation for the upcoming Triple Threat match at Extreme Rules for the World Championship.  Del Rio chose for it to be a ladders match, which is fitting as Del Rio, Swagger, and Ziggler all won Money in the Bank ladder matches and eventually cashed in contracts to become champions.  Now the three will look to gain momentum heading into the upcoming Extreme Rules PPV.  Which wrestler will stand tall on tonight's show?

And finally, several other stories will continue this week, such as Big Show and Rand Orton's feud, and Sheamus and Mark Henry's feud.  Fandango and Great Khali also had a Dance-off, with the dancing superstar attacking Khali from behind and hitting a leg drop on him due to the results.  What sorts of matches will these superstars end up in, and will it lead to matches or stipulations for Extreme Rules PPV?

Raw Preview 12/3/12

On last week's Raw, Ryback had most of his demands met, as he was granted a WWE Championship rematch against CM Punk at the TLC Pay-Per-View.  However, he did not get The Shield as he demanded at the start of the show.  Instead, he had to show up during the final match of the night, as CM Punk had defeated Kane, thanks to The Shield's appearance.  Ryback went on the attack against the trio, only to be beat down once again.  A spear from Reigns was followed by a triple power bomb to leave Ryback down on the mat.  With that, CM Punk stood tall, but the question remains, is Punk connected to The Shield, or are they two separate entities?  Will Ryback get some measure of revenge against them on tonight's show?  Will The Shield even show up?

Also on last week's show, another TLC match was set up as the AJ and John Cena scandal situation continued to boil over thanks to Vickie Guerrero.  This time around, Cena came out to address the WWE Universe, only to be interrupted by Vickie, who gave examples of all of AJ's crazy romantic situations of the past.  AJ came out to address those, claiming she'd learned from the mistakes and moved on, saying she's no longer GM and can have a relationship with whoever she wants on the roster.  Dolph Ziggler came out to add his two cents, claiming that Cena got "riled up" because he knew when AJ was kissing him, she was really thinking of Dolph.  Before a fight could happen, Vickie declared that these two would meet to settle things on Raw.  Cena was victorious and shared a victory kiss with AJ, but will these two continue on as a couple?  What will be next for AJ, Cena, Vickie and Dolph?

The WWE Tag Team Champions had their share of losses in singles matches on last week's show.  In one match, Daniel Bryan lost to Rey Mysterio, while Kane lost to CM Punk in the main event.  To follow that, they were both part of the attack by The Shield.  With Ryback rushing in to try to make a save, will Kane, Ryback and Bryan team up on tonight's show for some tag team action?  Will The Shield finally make their in-ring debut?

Raw Preview 11/12/12

Tonight's episode of Raw will bring plenty of big matches and new devolpments to the WWE Universe. For one, Brad Maddox, the referee who wanted to make a name for himself by screwing over Ryback at the WWE title match for Hell in a Cell, will be competing.  He'll be trying to win a $1 million WWE contract personally signed by Mr. McMahon.  However, he'll be up against tough odds as he'll be competing against none other than the guy he screwed over - Ryback!  Will Maddox be able to find a way to win the match and get a WWE contract, or will Ryback get revenge once again?

Also on tonight's show, there are several big developments to keep an eye on.  Vickie Guerrero has promised to reveal even more evidence to implicate AJ Lee and John Cena in the affair scandal.  Last week she revealed camera footage from the hotel that Cena and AJ were apparently staying at.  Cena said in their defense that it was footage from separate cameras and the two didn't go into one another's hotel rooms.  However, now Vickie has even more evidence to try to prove her case.  What's next from the supervising manager of Raw, and will Cena or AJ have proof against it?

With Survivor Series on the way, Team Ziggler has been formed as CM Punk has to defend his title at the PPV in a Triple Threat against John Cena and Ryback.  The opposing team, captained by Mick Foley, is still in need of a final member, now that Ryback has been assigned to the WWE title match.  Who will get this major spot?  Also, with Ryback and Cena teaming up last week, the two ended up face-to-face in the ring to end the show.  Will there be a showdown between these two on tonight's episode?

And finally, tonight marks a huge return for one WWE legend.  Jerry "The King" Lawler will make his return to WWE Raw for tonight's episode.  It all starts at 8PM EST on USA for the latest live episode of Monday Night Raw!

Raw Preview 11/5/12

This week's Raw arrives after the unveiling of two 5-man Survivor Series teams were unveiled on last week's episode.  It will be Team Foley vs. team Punk at the Pay-Per-View later this month, with plenty of bragging rights on the line.  Punk will be joined by Rhodes Scholars, The Miz, and Alberto Del Rio.  Meanwhile, Foley's five-man lineup features Kane, Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, and Ryback.  Ryback is eager to get his hands on the WWE champion CM Punk once again, after their clash at Hell in a Cell.  Also, the other team members have their own grudges to settle with members of the opposing team.  What sorts of matches and pre-PPV incidents will occur on tonight's show ahead of this traditional Survivor Series match?

Speaking of Ryback vs. Punk, the referee who interfered in their match to give Punk the victory, Brad Maddox, is scheduled to appear on Raw Monday night.  It seems he will have a huge target on his back, as Ryback will want to destroy him even more for what he did at the Pay-Per-View, costing him the WWE title.  While Maddox has been investigated by WWE for his interference, he may address the WWE Universe tonight over why he did what he did.  Was it to repay Punk and Heyman after he missed Punk's leg on the ropes weeks ago on Raw?  Or was it due to some sort of animosity towards Ryback?

And finally, the John Cena and AJ Lee plot continues to thicken.  Last week, Vickie Guerrero showed special evidence to indicate the duo was having an affair.  That evidence included photos and video footage of the two together, including a dinner out, and a ride up in an elevator at AJ's hotel.  Cena tried to defend himself from the allegations, and one again had to get physical with Dolph Ziggler.  Meanwhile, Vickie continues to look to prove her case against Cena and AJ.  On tonight's show, Vickie has even more evidence to unveil.  What will be the next thing the current supervisor of Raw has on Cena and AJ implicating them in a scandalous affair?

Check out tonight's episode of Raw on USA at 8PM EST for all the answers and action!

Raw Preview 10/29/12

With WWE Hell in a Cell results now in the books, Raw will be an interesting aftermath for the latest Pay-Per-View event.  In the main event, Ryback finally got his hands on the WWE champion, and nearly defeated him for the title.  However, the referee helped Punk cheat to secure the win, hitting a low blow on Ryback which allowed Punk to get the pinfall.  The post-match chaos saw an angry Ryback toss the referee around the ring and out against the cage wall.  Ryback was also able to chase Punk up to the top of the Hell in a Cell cage and hit Shellshocked on him, to get some sort of revenge.  However, he will leave the PPV without the championship belt.  Will Ryback get a rematch on tonight's episode of Raw?

One championship did change hands, and that was the World Heavyweight Championship.  The Big Show was able to hit 2 KO punches on Sheamus at different spots in the match.  After the first one, The Celtic Warrior managed to get out of the pinfall.  However, on the second one, it left Sheamus down for the count.  After the match, Sheamus required medical attention, while Show put the WWE Universe on notice.  He told everyone he'll no longer be viewed as a 45 second champion, and everyone should be afraid of him as the champion.  Will Sheamus get a rematch with Show on Raw or SmackDown?

One other big story continues as the John Cena and AJ "affair scandal" was featured on the live pre-show before Hell in a Cell on Sunday night.  During the show, Cena appeared to discuss the allegations with the fans, or at least answer questions from fans via tout and Twitter.  It was also learned that on tonight's episode of Raw, Vickie Guerrero will have some evidence to present regarding AJ and her "fraternizing" with Cena.  AJ has tweeted that she'll be at Raw to see the evidence herself.  What will Vickie have to present to the WWE Universe, and what will AJ and Cena's reactions be?

Raw Preview 10/22/12

Tonight's episode of WWE Raw arrives with less than one week until the epic Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View event.  On last week's Raw, the huge main event match involving the WWE Championship was officially signed.  It was determined by doctors that John Cena wouldn't be healthy enough to compete in time.  Due to that information, Vince McMahon made the decision to put Ryback in the main event against CM Punk.  Cena appeared to be on board as Ryback's biggest fan towards the end of the show, and Punk soon learned that the "hungry" superstar, Ryback, isn't playing around.  What will be next for both competitors in the main event match, and John Cena?

Tonight's Raw will also feature the finals of the WWE tag team tournament to determine #1 contenders.  The winners of tonight's match, featuring Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs. Rhodes Scholar will compete against Team Hell No at the Pay-Per-View on Sunday.  Last week saw the tournament stalled as Rey Mysterio was out of action with stomach problems.  Instead, Rhodes and Sandow took on Primo and Epico, and defeated them in an intense battle.  Now the duo will look to continue their momentum with a win over Mysterio and Sin Cara.  Will Rey be ready for this match, or will his recent stomach issues give Rhodes Scholar the easy victory?

And finally, several other superstars will be preparing for Hell in a Cell.  That includes the new Intercontinental Champion, Kofi Kingston, the World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, and the aforementioned tag team champions.  Also, the various competitors in their matchups will be looking to gain momentum or some sort of advantage against their HIAC opponents.  Will The Miz or Big Show have any surprises in store for Kofi or Sheamus?  Will Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio cross paths ahead of their HIAC match?  Also, will Dolph Ziggler continue to make promises that he'll leave HIAC as he new World Champion?

Check out all the action and excitement of the newest episode of Raw tonight at 9PM EST on USA!

Raw Preview 10/15/12

Tonight's episode of Raw arrives just weeks ahead of the October Hell in a Cell 2012 Pay-Per-View and one week after a brutal match involving Vince McMahon, kendo sticks and an incident in the stands.  At the end of last week's show, CM Punk was given a huge ultimatum as he fled the ring after his match with Mr. McMahon: either face John Cena, or face Ryback in Hell in a Cell.  Punk was given until tonight's show to come up with which opponent he will face.  So will it be Cena or Ryback that Punk chooses?

Also on Raw, a #1 contender tag team is still to be decided to face Daniel Bryan and Kane at the Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View.  Last week saw the teams of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara as well as Rhodes Scholars advance to the finals.  Both teams are worthy contenders, but only one can get the big victory.  Meanwhile, Bryan and Kane are continuing to work on trying to get along and put aside their anger management issues in the ring, and outside the ring.  Will Dr. Shelby have any more special therapy methods for the tag team champions?

The other major stories to wonder about heading into tonight's show include CM Punk's potential opponents at Hell in a Cell.  John Cena is currently recovering from surgery on his elbow and needs to be medically-cleared to compete at the Pay-Per-View.  Ryback has been tearing through the competition and has now crossed paths with the WWE champion several times.  Will Ryback make any further intentions known to the WWE champion on Monday's show?  Also, will John Cena make a live appearance either via satellite or in the ring?

Raw Preview 10/8/12

Raw arrives tonight with two straight weeks of Ryback crossing paths with the WWE champion CM Punk.  Two weeks ago it was after Punk attacked Mick Foley backstage, when he turned to see Ryback staring him down.  Just last week, Punk gave Jim Ross a dressing down in the ring, leading Ryback to come out and walk Ross back to the ringside commentary area, and then stand face-to-face with Punk in the middle for the ring.  However, Ryback has yet to make any intentions known as far as Punk or the WWE title.  CM Punk has yet to mention the mammoth superstar either.  Is a match between these two brewing, or will it all subside?  What's next for Ryback as he continues to request more food?

With WWE's Hell in a Cell arriving towards the end of the month, that means superstars will be preparing for their matches.  CM Punk has already said he won't be facing John Cena in a Hell in a Cell match, even though many legends and Cena himself have requested it.  The World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will put his title on the line against Big Show, with Dolph Ziggler lurking in the shadows with his MITB briefcase.  There's also the tag team titles which will be up for grabs.  The current champions are the on-again off-again pair of Daniel Bryan and Kane.  Their opponents are still be deciding as four tag teams are left in a tournament to find out the #1 contenders.  Will a team advance to the finals on tonight's show?

The biggest event of the night might not be any of the matches or feuds for the WWE stars, but the appearance of the WWE Chairman Vincent Kennedy McMahon.  Mr McMahon is scheduled to appear on the latest Raw episode to address the WWE Universe.  There is also some behind-the scenes speculation that AJ Lee's job as Raw General Manager could be on the line.  Will Mr. McMahon utter those two famous words to anyone on Raw, or will he simply put someone on notice Monday night?

Raw Preview 10/01/12

Tonight's episode of Raw arrives one week after the surprising conclusion to last week's show.  The finale saw CM Punk fleeing backstage after he tried to attack a one-armed John Cena in the ring.  Punk got hit by Cena's secret weapon, a lead pipe, and quickly retreated to the back.  However, as Punk was holding his ribs and walking backstage, he saw Hardcore legend Mick Foley talking to someone.  Due to their earlier altercation in the ring, Punk went to have words with Foley, but instead kicked him down.  As Punk was walking off, he turned back to say something but instead stood in shock.  After several moments it was revealed that Ryback was there breathing heavily and staring down the WWE Champion.  Will this lead to a matchup or confrontation on tonight's episode of Raw?  Will Ryback have words for Punk, or vice versa?

Last week also saw more continuation of the relationship counseling for Daniel Bryan and Kane.  This time it was held at a diner in Buffalo, NY, with Dr. Shelby trying some unique counseling techniques.  While things didn't go quite as smoothly as Dr. Shelby had hoped, he seems to have the tag team champs on the same page.  They also received an official name last week as "Team Hell No," but now are awaiting their opponents for Hell in a Cell.  As a tag team tournament continues, which team will emerge as the #1 contenders for the tag team championships?

And finally, Raw continues to be run by the erratic AJ Lee.  Last week's show saw CM Punk and Paul Heyman playing with her emotions and taunting her in the ring.  Paul Heyman even went so far as to get down on one knee and propose to AJ, saying they could make the ultimate power couple.  AJ wasn't having it and smacked Heyman before storming off.  Also during the show, AJ reprimanded the new referee who had a blown call in the tag team match weeks ago, and led a meeting of her referees to try to rally them to do their best work.  Of course, AJ may still seem a bit off her rocker as she tries to manage the show.  Will her emotions get the best of her, or will she have big plans in store for tonight's episode of Raw?

Raw Preview 09/24/12

Several big stories will be brewing as Raw goes on the air Monday night.  The latest episode will certainly feature John Cena, as the #1 contender for the WWE title recently had elbow surgery.  He'll now be undergoing rehabilitation which will keep him out of action for as many as six weeks.  Cena is scheduled to be a part of the Monday Night Raw show.  What will he have to say regarding his recovery, CM Punk, and the WWE title match at Hell in a Cell PPV?

Speaking of CM Punk, last week's main event saw Punk fuming at the referee's decision.  The final spot saw Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Punk, who got a leg on the ropes before the 3 count was finished.  However, the referee didn't see Punk's leg and counted the pinfall, awarding the win to Cena and Sheamus.  CM Punk was livid at the referee's incompetence and demanded an instant replay be used.  The referee refused to overturn his decision and Punk followed him up the ramp and backstage, still complaining, as Paul Heyman tried to cool Punk down.  Will Punk have more to say about the referee's non call last week, or will he have other matters to worry about?

And finally, one other major guest is scheduled for Monday Night Raw.  After suffering a heart attack and collapsing on Raw several weeks ago, Jerry "The King" Lawler will be interviewed by his colleague Michael Cole.  Cole has been reporting how excited he is to get to talk to his friend and co-worker.  What will the latest news be regarding Jerry's condition, and will he give any estimates for returning back to the commentary position?

Raw Preview 09/17/12

Now that the Night of Champions PPV results have been decided, the WWE Champion is likely to continue gloating about his impressive reign.  CM Punk managed to outlast John Cena in a match involving multiple near falls, as well as what looked like Cena getting the big win in his hometown.  However, it was decided that the match ended in a double pinfall, or draw, meaning CM Punk retained his championship in the main event.  Most likely, fans will see Punk, along with his new rep, Paul Heyman, bragging about the win, even though he didn't officially get the pinfall to win it.  What will John Cena have to say regarding the decision on Monday night?

Also at the PPV, Kane and Daniel Bryan were able to put their differences aside (sort of) and become the new tag team champions.  The duo had been going through anger management therapy for weeks and found themselves #1 contenders on Sunday night for the tag titles.  In the match, they got into a bit of a shoving match between themselves, but eventually hugged it out.  Not only that, but a shove by Bryan of Kane from the top corner, resulted in a pinfall on Kofi Kingston for the big win.  However, as NOC proceded it was questionable if they really were on the same page and getting along.  What's in store next for Kane, Daniel Bryan, and Dr. Shelby?

Finally, the incident last week that really shook up the WWE Universe was when Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed during the live episode of Raw.  It was later learned that he had suffered a heart attack and required 15 minutes of CPR to save his life.  Now that Jerry appears to be on the road to recovery, his commentary will be missed.  However, it appears that JBL may become his temporary replacement.  Will JBL resume commentary after joining Michael Cole at Night of Champions, or will someone else fill in for "The King?"

Raw Preview 09/10/12

Tonight's episode of Raw comes after the shocking conclusion to last week's main event.  John Cena had the match in hand and had just unleashed his Attitude Adjustment on Alberto Del Rio backstage during a "Falls Count Anywhere" match.  However, before Cena could capture a pinfall, CM Punk appeared out of nowhere and delivered a roundhouse kick to Cena's head.  With Cena layed out, Punk pulled Del Rio onto him for the pinfall victory.  Punk then added more injury to insult by slamming Cena face first onto the hood of a nearby car and telling him about "respect."  As Punk got into the passenger side of the car and it drove forward, Paul Heyman stuck his head out of the driver's window.  Withhat will Heyman and Punk have to say on tonight's episode of Raw, and how will Cena react to last week's attack?

Also on last week's show, Raw GM AJ Lee had a major meltdown in the ring, after being slapped in the face multiple times by Vickie Guerrero.  AJ was also informed that the Board said AJ can't put her hands on any superstars or other talent.  However, as General Manager AJ can still make major decisions which affect superstars, their management, and others on Raw.  She's already ordered Daniel Bryan to attend anger management classes.  What will AJ Lee have in store for Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler on tonight's episode of Raw?

With tonight's Raw being held in Montreal it will also mark the return of the legendary Bret "The Hitman" Hart to the territory.  In fact, Bret hasn't been to Montreal for 15 years, ever since back in 1997 when the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" involving Shawn Michaels and the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.  In that incident, Bret lost the title due to a plan concocted by Mr. McMahon, and it ultimately caused years of bad blood between Bret, Vince, and Michaels.  Now, Bret returns to the scene of the infamous incident, but this time as a special guest on Raw.  What will "The Hitman" have planned for the Raw roster on Monday night's show?

Raw Preview 09/03/12

Last week's episode of Raw took a turn for the worst when CM Punk and Jerry Lawler faced off in a steel cage match.  The main event saw Punk become bloodied up, and eventually defeat Jerry Lawler.  From there, Punk locked himself inside the cage with Lawler to further torment him, demanding the King call him "best in the world."  Lawler refused and Punk kept up his attack, with John Cena having to rush to ringside to get the cage raised up so he could chase off Punk.  Nonetheless, Punk sent his message loud and clear that he will beat opponents senseless if they don't show him respect.  What will John Cena have to say to CM Punk on tonight's episode of Raw, as they are weeks away from a Night of Champions title match?

Last week also saw an emotional speech from Triple H regarding his in-ring wrestling career.  The Game said Brock Lesnar actually made him question if this was the end of the line for his career.  A teary-eyed HHH thanked the WWE Universe and said he had hoped he gave them some memorable moments.  With that, some believe Hunter may have seen his final days inside a wrestling ring.  However, The Game has yet to make any sort of official announcement.  Will that come during tonight's 3-hour show?

And finally, there are several other stories developing as Raw takes place on Monday, which center around Raw General Manager AJ Lee.  In one situation, she has been under fire from critics for how she handled Vickie Guerrero in the ring.  Vickie has asked the WWE Board to do something about AJ attacking her, or she will.  Also, AJ recently sent Daniel Bryan to anger management group therapy, which Kane also showed up for.  However, it appears Kane has not been able to benefit from it, as he attacked David Otunga and then Josh Matthews for a second time on Friday's Smackdown.  Will any of these situations be resolved on Monday night?

Raw Preview 08/27/12

Tonight's episode of Raw comes just a week after CM Punk committed yet another heinous act which shocked the WWE Universe.  During the final segment of Raw on August 20th, Punk had called Jerry Lawler into the ring for an apology over saying he turned his back on the WWE Universe.  Lawler gave the apology and went to leave the ring, but Punk stopped him for one more thing.  Punk demanded that Lawler announce to everyone that Punk is the "best in the world."  Lawler refused and as he tried to leave the ring, got kicked in the back of the head by the WWE champion.  This has led to speculation that the two might meet in the ring on tonight's episode of Raw.  Will a match be set up between Jerry Lawler and CM Punk on tonight's show?

Speaking of Punk, the current champion was set to decide who he will choose as his #1 contender at Night of Champions 2012.  On Raw, John Cena came to the ring, suggesting that Punk needs to consider the PPV's location - Boston, MA, since it's Cena's hometown.  Cena let Punk know that it could be a career-defining moment if Punk defends the title successfully against him in Boston.  Punk had tried to make Cena call him "Best in the World," but the former WWE champion refused, saying he has to believe that about himself, or else "there's the door."  With that in mind, a #1 contender still needs to be decided.  Will Punk make his decision or announcement on tonight's show?

And finally, several other interesting situations developed on last week's Raw.  In one scenario, Daniel Bryan once again enraged the Big Red Monster Kane, by slapping him.  Kane attempted to track Bryan down backstage, but had no luck.  Instead, he tossed interviewer and commentator Josh Matthews across the hallway, leading to Matthews' being taken off the air.  In another situation, Dolph Ziggler won a huge match over Chris Jericho, causing Y2J to have to leave the WWE.  Not to mention, Brodus Clay and Damien Sandow may still have unfinished business, and the Big Show seems to be becoming an angrier giant by the moment.  What's in store next for these superstars and the rest of the WWE roster on tonight's episode of Raw?

Raw Preview 08/13/12

Tonight's 3-hour episode of Raw will be the final edition of the show heading into SummerSlam 2012.  It's been a tumultuous past few weeks, with CM Punk turning the WWE Universe upside down, and now he'll be looking to gain an advantage against his two opponents for a Triple Threat match.  Last week saw Punk try to stand tall by knocking down John Cena and Big Show in the ring yet again.  However, this time Big Show was prepared with his KO punch, which he used to drop Punk and Cena.  That left Show standing tall as Raw ended.  What will happen on tonight's show?

It's also been rumored that Shawn Michaels may make an appearance on Raw yet again.  HBK is scheduled to serve as Triple H's corner man when The Game faces Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.  Lesnar told HBK last week, "I'll see you sooner," indicating he'd be seeing him before SummerSlam.  However, there's no indication that Lesnar is scheduled to be on tonight's show.  Will Brock make a surprise appearance and go after the Heartbreak Kid?

Also over the past weeks, a feud has been brewing between Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho.  Jericho seemed to get the upperhand on the latest Money in the Bank winner several weeks in a row.  However on Friday's Smackdown during the Highlight Reel, Jericho was ambushed in the ring by Ziggler and bashed down by the briefcase.  It seems there's plenty of bad blood between these two superstars, as both want to prove they deserve the spotlight more.  Which one of them will claim it on tonight's episode before Summerslam?

Raw Preview 08/06/12

Last week's Raw saw yet another main event end with CM Punk attacking someone in the ring.  On Raw 1000, it was Punk perpetrating a sneak attack on The Rock.  On Raw 1001, Punk attacked John Cena and Big Show during a match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Championship.  Punk thought that his ending the match would cause both superstars to lose, and therefore mean there'd be no match at SummerSlam 2012.  However, new General Manager AJ Lee informed him that both men will be facing Punk at SummerSlam in a Triple Threat match for the WWE title!  What will happen next between these three superstars on Raw?  What will Cena have to say regarding Punk's attack?

Speaking of AJ Lee, she recently had her former boyfriend, and almost husband, Daniel Bryan, checked out by a psychiatrist.  Bryan passed the doctor's questioning just fine, with the doctor declaring Bryan was sane.  However, a superstar who has been questioned for his sanity, Kane, came into the room after the exam and attacked Bryan.  It appears these two will continue their feud which started up during the AJ love triangle.  Will these two be set up in a match at SummerSlam?  What will Charlie Sheen's involvement in all of this be?

There are several other championships currently in WWE which may be soon up for grabs at SummerSlam.  For example, The Miz recently won the Intercontinental title from Christian, and has defended it in a rematch.  Meanwhile, Santino Marella has been defeated in non-title matches by both Alberto Del Rio and Antonio Cesaro.  There's also the tag team titles, which R-Truth and Kofi Kingston currently hold, but Abraham Washington's Prime Time Players have the inside track towards.  Will any other title matches be arranged ahead of SummerSlam?

Episode #1002 of Raw will air starting at 8PM EST on USA Monday night!

Raw Preview 07/30/12

Last week's Raw was a monumental event complete with returning guests such as D-Generation X, The Rock, Lita, Vince McMahon, and Brock Lesnar.  It also featured plenty of drama and a betrayal in the squared circle during the main event title matchup.

During the main event match, John Cena officially cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase for a shot at CM Punk's WWE Championship.  Rather than winning the title like all previous MITB winners, Cena's attempt was thwarted by The Big Show.  Show interfered in the match twice; once with the referee knocked out, and another time with the ref conscious as Cena had the STF locked on Punk.  With the second involvement by Show, Cena won, but due to a DQ.  Therefore, he was not named the new champion.  With that in mind, Cena will certainly be upset with Big Show after what went down.  What will Cena have to say to the World's Largest Athlete?

That wasn't the only drama that occurred in the main event though, as CM Punk shocked the world following the bell.  As Big Show continued a post-match assault on John Cena, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson rushed to the ring to try to make a save.  He did, for a bit, fighting off Big Show.  However, CM Punk rushed into the ring and attacked Rock, knocking him to the mat.  It shocked not only Rock, but also most of the WWE Universe, as CM Punk has turned the tables once again.  Now, the WWE wrestling fans will wait to hear what Punk's reasons are for the attack.  Will The Rock have a response on tonight's show in some capacity?

Also on last week's show, Triple H finally got the answer he wanted from Brock Lesnar.  While it was manager Paul Heyman who accepted the SummerSlam match, Brock made an appearance as well, after Stephanie McMahon attacked Heyman.  The in-ring confrontation led to Triple H and Lensar going at it, with The Game getting the upperhand and tossing Brock out of the ring.  That left Lesnar smirking, as the two will now head towards a huge match in August.  Will Brock show up again on Raw, and will it be live or via satellite?

Raw Preview 07/23/12

With tonight's episode of Raw comes the historic 1000th episode of the weekly television show.  That will mean big things including an epic championship match, as John Cena has announced he will cash his Mone in the Bank briefcase in against WWE champion CM Punk.  Unlike former MITB winners, Cena has given Punk a week to prepare for their championship match.  Other MITB winners have waited until the champion was vulnerable, to lay claim to the title, but not Cena.  Tonight's match has the potential to be history-making, in multiple ways.  Will Cena capture the title, or will he be one of the first to fail cashing in the MITB briefcase?

Tonight's show also features the return of D-Generation X, as Shawn Michaels and Triple H will reunite on the show.  While Michaels is no longer a part of WWE in terms of wrestling, he has no problem coming back to entertain the fans and hang out with The Game.  However, Triple H may have some business to attend to as well.  The WWE COO has issued a challenge to Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam 2012, which he's still waiting to hear back on.  It was announced by Lesnar's mouthpiece, Paul Heyman, that Brock will be part of the 1000th episode of Raw to make his decision.  Will Brock accept Triple H's SummerSlam challenge?  Will Shawn Michaels be caught in harm's way?

And finally....The Rock has come back to Raw, again.  Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will make his first appearance on the show since the Raw following his epic match against John Cena.  It's been rumored that Rock plans to announce his personal plans as far as wrestling go.  He's also held steadfast to his promise that he will once again become the WWE champion.  Will The Rock have a major announcement on the show?  Will he get involved in Cena vs Punk somehow?

There's also the wedding ceremony between AJ and Daniel Bryan scheduled for Monday's show.  It all begins at 8PM EST on USA with the epic 3-hour 1000th episode of Monday Night Raw!

Raw Preview 07/09/12

Tonight's Raw will be the final episode of the show before this week's Money in the Bank PPV arrives.  With that in mind, there's plenty going on leading up to the big event and its matches.  That includes the ongoing love triangle involving AJ, Daniel, Bryan and CM Punk.  While AJ will serve as special guest referee for the WWE Championship match, the mind games are in full effect as she's been playing both sides.  As Bryan and Punk attempt to enter this situation with the odds in their favor, who is AJ leaning towards?  Will she be able to serve as a fair referee at the match on Sunday?

Heading into the Pay-Per-View, the World Heavyweight title situation is also ramping up.  Alberto Del Rio was named #1 contender for the title, and has responded with attacks on Sin Cara on Raw, and Sheamus on SmackDown.  In one situation he unmercifully applied his submission hold on Sin Cara's arm.  In the other, he smashed the hood of one of his fancy cars down on Sheamus' back multiple times.  How will the champion respond to this attack?  Will he be able to fight at Sunday's PPV?

One other big question lingers for Monday's show.  It's already known that Zack Ryder will be the man in charge for SmackDown on Friday, due to his big win in the Great American Bash Battle Royal.  Ryder outlasted his fellow competitors, including Kane, in the final moments, to become the official head honcho for Friday's show.  Meanwhile, there's been no official news made about who will host or be the GM for Raw.  Will it be another superstar, or a member from the WWE headquarters?

Raw Preview 07/01/12

On tonight's episode of Raw, it's expected that Brock Lesnar will finally have an answer for Triple H.  For weeks since he was attacked, The Game has been dealing with legal actions and battles from Lesnar and Heyman.  However, HHH decided he had a simple way to settle things: a Summerslam PPV match between him and Lesnar.  Paul Heyman was responding on behalf of Brock and tried to avoid having a match, but with HHH recently KO'ing Heyman in the ring, it seems Lesnar is ready to respond.  Will Brock accept Triple H's challenge for Summerslam?

Last week's episode of Raw saw four superstars announced for one of the two Money in the Bank matches.  John Cena, Chris Jericho, Big Show, and Kane will all be competing in the MITB ladder match for the briefcase hanging above the ring.  That briefcase contains a contract for a WWE Championship match at anytime, anyplace for up to a year.  John Cena has already gone on record to announce he plans to stop Big Show from winning, by winning the match.  It's his first time in  the match, with Kane, Show, and Jericho all competing before.  What will go down next between these stars two weeks ahead of the Pay-Per-View?

Also on tonight's Raw, Theodore Long gets control of the show, as he will be General Manager for the night.  Long will also be in charge of Smackdown, the following night.  For weeks, Teddy was subject to all sorts of humiliation at the hands of John Laurinaitis and Eve Torres.  However, now he gets to call the shots.  Will Teddy Long get any revenge on any particular superstars or divas on tonight's show?  What sorts of plans does he have in store for Raw?

Check out WWE Raw starting at 9PM EST on USA, Monday night!
