Wrestlemania 24 Ticket Sales Record

Wrestlemania 24 is setting ticket sales records for the Florida Citrus Bowl. WWE.com is reporting that the March 30th Pay Per View's ticket sales have climbed to 46,000 tickets sold and will probably continue to sell until the event is entirely sold out. The event has now outsold the Rolling Stones Citrus Bowl concert, making it a major sales success so far.

"The line of amped fans winding around the Amway Arena Box Office in Orlando was a dead giveaway: WrestleMania XXIV is coming. Tickets for the premier event in sports-entertainment went on sale Saturday at 10 a.m., and our fans were out in full force. In fact, many spent the night in hopes of getting their hands on a prized ticket."

Wrestlemania XXIV is scheduled for March 30th, 2008 at 6:30PM. Tickets may be available here at Tickemaster.com. A quick check showed there were a pair of tickets in the $90 range available, which were in the MEZZANINE section 212, upper level. Interestingly enough, Ticketmaster also includes a section for fans to sell and buy tickets to one another.
