5 WWE Albums for a Fan's Wishlist

One of the best holiday gifts for a WWE fan is giving them an album full of the various entrance theme songs for wrestlers or WWE-related music. Over the years there's been 10 plus CD's released from WWF/WWE which include everyone from Hulk Hogan to The Rock to Undertaker and John Cena's theme music. Here's 5 albums you might consider giving that WWE fan on your holiday list.

1) WWE Anthology - There's probably no greater or more comprehensive collection than the Anthology 3 disc set. This one's full of classic WWF and WWE themes. Just about everyone in WWE's history is represented here: Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, DX, Vince McMahon, Stone Cold, Undertaker, The Hurricane, Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels. And that's just a few of the over 80 theme songs this album holds. This is probably the single best release in WWE history, although it does lack some current themes such as John Cena, Batista, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton.

2) WWE Raw's Greatest Hits - Set to be released just a week before Christmas (12/18), this will be the newest album of WWE music available to fans. It includes Raw theme music for former WWE champ, John Cena (The Time is Now), the Undertaker, HHH, Vince McMahon, Batista, Rey Mystero and Chris Jericho. A who's who of the WWE Raw show, released in conjnunction with the recent 15 year anniversary of the long-time cable TV show.

3) WWE Originals - Some may disagree here, but this one's unique in that all the music performed here is by WWE wrestlers or divas. The standout of the album is the hard to find "Basic Thuganomics", the rough-edged theme song rapped by John Cena back in his earlier WWE days. Also included are divas Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler and Lillian Garcia, as well as the late Eddie Guerrero. And Stone Cold brings 3 tracks including "Where's the Beer?" 17 Tracks full of WWE Star power here.

4)WWE Wreckless Intent - One of the standouts on this album from 2006 is "I'm Comin" the hype entrance song for current United States Champion, MVP. It includes many tracks by popular artists today such as Saliva, 316 Mafia, POD, Motorhead and Killswitch Engage. You'll also find Booyaka 619 for Rey Mysterio and the current theme songs for Divas Torrie Wilson and Kelly Kelly.

5) WWF Aggression - If you've got a WWE fan who's also into hip hop they may enjoy this one most. It's got a twist on various theme songs as they are performed by rap stars. Run DMC re-does "The Kings" for DX. Ice T performs Godfather's "Pimpin' Ain't Easy". And Snoop Dogg stops by to perform "Hell Yeah" for Stone Cold Steve Austin. It's rap meets wrestling and makes for a unique 13 track album of fun.

Bonus: If you've got a big John Cena fan on your holiday list, you can't go wrong with You Can't See Me by the sidelined superstar/rapper/actor/wrestler.
