Miami Herald Profiles JBL
The Miami Herald site has a great write up about the recent Tribute to the Troops event by WWE, with a particular focus on John Bradshaw Layfield aka "JBL". The article discusses JBL being a proud and accomplished American, and one who despises our current political system. It also goes on to discuss the internal politics of WWE, and JBL dispels the gossip surrounding him "calling out" John Morrison backstage. JBL discusses the great potential of current stars like MVP and Festus. He also reminisces over what it was like for him to get into wrestling.
The Herald talks of JBL recently leaving his commentator role to return to wrestling action. JBL has said he doesn't want it to be a "one and done" deal, and wants to contribute regularly as a wrestler. As many know JBL's wealthy wrestler is based on his rich real life self. He has appeared regularly on business/financial shows, has a book about finding wealth and is married to a financial analyst. JBL will be introducing Layfield Energy in 2008, a publicly traded company which targets good health, cholesterol and fat loss. He also has considered another book but has noted he just doesnt have the time right now, especially with his return to Raw soon.
