Candice Beckman, who later became Candice Michelle, has been an actress and model since she was a teenager. She went to Santa Monica College where she continued to study theater and acting. Some of her pre-WWE modeling gigs involved Flex magazine and Lowrider magazine. She entered the 2004 WWE Diva Search but did not make the final 10 contestants. She then began to appear on Raw in a role as a makeup artist, and eventually went on to be a special referee for a Great American Bash, Bra and Panties match between Torrie Wilson and Melina.

Candice went from diva face to heel and back again, and was involved in situations with Ashley Massaro, Trish Stratus, Mickie James and Torrie Wilson. It was at 2007's Vengeance Pay-Per-View where Candice made history. She defeated Melina to become first WWE Diva search contestant to win the Women's title. Candice lost the title several weeks later to the Glamazon Beth Phoenix. Candice suffered an unfortunate in-ring injury on the October 22nd edition of Raw, where she broke her clavicle and was forced out of WWE action.

Candice is one of several other WWE divas to have a Playboy magazine cover and pictorial. Her issue was the April 2006 edition of the magazine. She's had TV roles on 7th Heaven, Party of Five and HBO's Hotel Erotica. Candice became married in May 2005 to Dr. Ken Gee Ehrlich, a chiropractor from Los Angeles.
