Teddy Long came out to inform the crowd he will be in charge tonight due to Vickie Guerrero's recent injury. Teddy then informed everyone that there will be a second Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out. The match will feature six men: Undertaker vs. Batista vs. MVP vs. Finlay vs. Great Khali vs. Big Daddy V. The winner will become the challenger for the WWE World championship at Wrestlemania 24. Teddy Long also informed everyone that Rey Mysterio will challenge Edge for the World Heavyweight Title at No Way Out. Edge tried to say he couldn't wrestle Rey after what happened at the last PPV. Teddy tells Edge the match will go forth.

MVP vs. Ric Flair
Career Threatening Match

A rematch from the Royal Rumble saw Flair gain control and lock the Figure Four on MVP. MVP reversed the hold but didn't release it when Flair was under the ropes. Since MVP didn't release the submission within the referee's 5 count, the ref called for the bell. Flair wins by a DQ, but MVP took out his frustration afterwards by beating up Flair using the steel steps. Flair was shown later on being checked on by WWE medical staff and officials.

Winner: Ric Flair wins due to disqualification of MVP.

Chuck Palumbo came to the ring and discussed the incident involving himself, Michelle and Jamie Noble. Chuck says he didn't mean to hurt Michelle and it was really Jamie Noble's fault. Michelle McCool comes to the ring and tells Chuck she's sick of his apologies. Michelle slaps Chuck in the face and he becomes enraged. Palumbo vows that he will hurt Jamie Noble and it will be all Michelle's fault.

Rey Mysterio & CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero & Edge

Rey Mysterio hit Chavo with a 619 first. Punk then Punk pinned Chavo with the GTS.

Rey Mysterio and CM Punk win via pinfall over Edge and Chavo

Backstage, Vince McMahon talked to Finlay about getting disqualified in the Royal Rumble to save Hornswoggle. Finlay said loyalty and friendship was more important.

Hornswoggle & Finlay vs. Deuce & Domino

Hornswoggle tagged in to hit the Tadpole Splash from off the corner ropes. Hornswoggle scores the pin giving he and Finlay a victory.

Winner: Hornswoggle & Finlay win via pinfall over Deuce and Domino.

The 2007 WWE Diva Search winner Eve Torres made her debut on the Smackdown show. Eve interviewed Batista about his chances in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out. Batista said he's been in that match before and claimes he will win the Chamber then go win the World title at Wrestlemania.

Jesse is shown backstage and says that Festus is a "new man" and the tag team will be returning to Smackdown next week.

Ryder & Hawkins vs. Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang

Winner: Ryder & Hawkins defeat Moore and Yang via pinfall.

Big Daddy V & Mark Henry vs. Kane & Undertaker

First Kane and Undertaker delivered a double chokeslam on the huge Big Daddy V. Then Taker hit Mark Henry with a chokeslam amd slapped the leglock around his midsection. Henry eventually had to submit and was spitting up blood like Undertaker made Big Daddy V do last week.

Winner: The Undertaker & Kane defeated Mark Henry & Big Daddy V by submission.
