2 Raw Superstars Released

Just a day ago, it was announced that WWE released Smackdown wrestler Super Crazy. Today two more superstars were cut, this time from the Raw roster. Chuck Palumbo and Paul London were both released as announced by WWE earlier this afternoon.

According to Phil Lowe of ifight365.com:

Neither release comes as a surprise. Palumbo was expecting to be released and has recently been looking to work in Mexico.

London, who as Dan Short noted last weekend was at PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles shows as he has recently moved to California, had fallen out of favour with management some time ago. It was only a matter of time before he was wished the best for the future on WWE.com.

Palumbo is most recently known as the motorcycle-riding star from Smackdown who turned heel. The turn came when his gal pal, Michelle McCool, befriended Jamie Noble. Palumbo snapped and at one point knocked Michelle down by accident in a scuffle with Noble. Palumbo and Noble engaged in a feud for weeks on Smackdown.

Paul London was of course the quick, high-flying tag team partner of Brian Kendrick. The two held the tag titles on Smackdown for some time before losing them to Deuce & Domino. London became injured during their match, which eventually cost them the titles. London made the move to Raw, and eventually had a strange encounter with Kendrick, who seemed to turn on him. Kendrick is now showcased on Raw as "The Brian Kendrick", accompanied by bodyguard Ezekiel Jackson.

Best wishes go out to both Chuck Palumbo and Paul London in all their future endeavors.
