WWE 2nd in Yahoo! 2008 Searches

On Monday, internet search engine, Yahoo! released their annual list of the top search times. Coming in at #1 was pop singer and paparazzi-favorite, Britney Spears. Spears is on another comeback trail, complete with a new album due out soon, which has helped her top the searches in 2008. WWE came in at the #2 spot, just ahead of President-elect Barack Obama, singer/actress Miley Cyrus and Runescape.

The Yahoo! site has also broken down the Top 10 searches for Celebrity, News, Olympians, Politicians, Women and Farewells. The farewells category includes searched-for celebs and others of fame who died in the year 2008.

WWE continues to be amongst the popular daily and yearly searches on Yahoo! Recently, the new set of divas, The Bella Twins, ranked #1 on the site for hot searches during the day.
