Wrestlemania 25 Card Unfolding...

Both the Royal Rumble and last night's Raw seem to give us several possible matches we could see on the upcoming Wrestlemania 25 card, which is about 2 months away. The silver anniversary of the Pay-Per-View extravaganza looks to feature some intriguing matchups, including another celebrity being added to the mix.

Here's what we could see at Wrestlemania 25:

1) Randy Orton vs. John Cena - World Heavyweight Title

2) Shawn Michaels vs. JBL - match for HBK's contract?

3) Triple H vs Edge - based on Vickie & Triple H's showdowns

4) Chris Jericho vs. Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler)

5) Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy - classic brother vs. brother feud

We're also sure to see the ECW title contested as well as both women's titles and the IC title. Undertaker may be competing for Shelton's US Championship based on their feud of recent weeks. The Jericho versus Rourke match is interesting because it will likely be coinciding with the DVD release of "The Wrestler" movie. Not sure the WWE needed to help promote that flick, but they seem to like to bring in a celebrity to compete for Wrestlemania these days. Last year it was Floyd Mayweather Jr, before that it was Donald Trump backing a "Hair vs. Hair" contest.

Before we get to Wrestlemania we've still got business to handle. As we saw on last night's show, it appears that we'll get some sort of Shane McMahon vs. Orton match for No Way Out. Possibly a Street Fight? Shane's famous for fighting in those. He'll get taken out in this one though, another casualty of the Legacy as Orton continues to show his new rage and heel leadership on Raw. There's also going to be at least 2 Elimination Chambers for the WWE and World Heavyweight titles. We know that the World Heavyweight will feature John Cena defending with Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho making up 4 of the 6 men in the match. That leaves 2 spots for JBL and Shawn Michaels so they can mess up each other's shot at winning the title and bring the feud to Wrestlemania 25, full force. I expect we may see both Hardy's in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber, along with Triple H, Vladimir Kozlov, Big Show and Edge defending.

Last night fans also saw Rob Van Dam make a surprise entry into the Royal Rumble. From here it wouldn't surprise me if he's back to provide a challenger for Jack Swagger on ECW. RVD is Extreme and with the way it's looking, Matt Hardy will be moving back towards Smackdown to go after Jeff. They're going to need someone to challenge Swagger with Hardy's recent heel turn, unless Dreamer and Ortiz will be his only competition.

very true bout everything but i heard that RVD appearance was a one time thing cause he needs to take care of his wife still, Idk but i hope dat it happens. As for taker, to me he should get a better opponent if it goin 2 be at wrestlemania like serious not to be mean but they got Shelton in the mid-card still I think austin should face taker cause that would be a good legends match LOL. Anywayz I can't wait til the hardys bash at each other.

Sal I agree, Undertaker deserves a better match...maybe we get a Triple Threat between he, Edge and HHH for the title? It would make an interesting match with Taker's undefeated streak riding on it.

As for the Hardys that is shaping up to be a classic!

Rourke's gotta work on his trash talking skills before he can become a real pro wrestler...
