WWE Superstars Recap 09.03.09

The 9/3/09 episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America featured an hour's worth of exciting matchups from the Raw, Smackdown and ECW brands. On tonight's program, fans were treated to the following matches: Raw's Chris Masters vs. Evan Bourne, ECW's William Regal vs. Tyler Reks, and Smackdown's Cryme Tyme and Eve vs. The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd, DH Smith & Natalya).

Here are the full results for the 09/3/09 episode of WWE Superstars:

Evan Bourne vs. Chris Masters

After a commercial break, Masters put Bourne up in a torture rack submission. Bourne turned into a sunset flip, but Masters threw Bourne to the corner. From there, Masters started to work on Bourne's back. Masters tried another torture rack style move, with Bourne elbowing his way out of it. Masters quickly clotheslined Bourne down.

After a near pinfall, Bourne went on the offensive, with a flying headscissors and elbow, followed by the two count. Bourne used a front headlock, but Masters rammed him back into the corner. Masters tried to charge at Bourne, with Bourne able to kick him. Off the top Bourne went for the cross body, but Masters caught him and attempted the Masterlock. Bourne escaped it and was able to kick Masters in the face. From there, Masters tried to charge at him in the corner with Bourne avoiding it. Masters hit the pole shoulder first, allowing Bourne to kick him down, then hit a Shooting Starpress/Air Bourne for the win.

Winner: Evan Bourne wins via pinfall over Chris Masters.

Tyler Reks vs. William Regal

Regal came to the ring with his cronies, Vlad Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson. In the match, he worked on twisting it back. Reks tried to escape but Regal backed him to the corner then punched away. Reks had a burst of offense for a bit as he bodyslammed Regal, then suplexed him. Regal managed to get in a cheap shot though and took over from there, using various submission moves.

Reks was able to reverse a Regal move into a backslide pinfall, but only got a 1 count. Regal escaped to put another submission hold on, then tossed Reks onto the apron. Reks was able to ram Regal with a shoulder and tried for a springboard off the ropes. Regal ducked his move, waited for him to get up and hit the Knee Trembler to knock him out for the win. After the win, Jackson and Kozlov climbed into the ring to each do their one armed slam finisher on Reks. Regal let Reks know this was a warning for everyone in the ECW.

Winner: William Regal wins via pinfall over Tyler Reks.

Cryme Tyme & Eve vs. The Hart Dynasty & Natalya

In the later stages of this Smackdown tag team mixed gender match, DH Smith had JTG down in a submission hold. Kidd tagged in to help work on JTG's leg. JTG was able to trip Kidd down so he could finally escape to make a tag to Shad. Shad hit his finisher "The Magnificent", but Smith had made a tag to Natalya, forcing the divas to come in to fight. Eve took control of things and flipped onto Natalya for a near pin, until Kidd yanked her off. Eve did a jumping lariat kick then tried for a tumbling splash, with Natalya able to avoid it. As Eve got up, Natalya hit her with a spinning clothesline for the win.

Winners: The Hart Dynasty & Natalya win via pinfall over Cryme Tyme & Eve.
