Smackdown Results 06/08/12

Smackdown Results from Columbia, SC:

Alberto Del Rio came out to start off Smackdown, calling out Sheamus.  Ricardo Rodriguez came out dressed up as and mocking Sheamus.  The real Sheamus shows up and starts fighting with Del Rio.  Teddy Long arrives out saying that John Laurinaitis isn't there tonight, so he's in charge.  Long sets up Kane vs. Del Rio for the Smackdown main event, while Del Rio will take on Great Khali, next.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Great Khali by submission using his Cross Arm Breaker hold.

Backstage, Teddy Long met with Brodus Clay and his dancers.  He told Brodus he is now full-time on Smackdown.

Brodus Clay defeated Derrick Bateman by pinfall in a squash match.

Sin Cara defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall.

Ryback defeated two amateur wrestlers by pinfall in a squash match.

Workers were setting up the set for the Peep Show, but Cody Rhodes came out and destroyed it.  He started trash talking Christian, who then came out.  He said he stopped whining after Edge was inducted into WWE HOF, but Rhodes is now a whiner.

Christian defeated Dolph Ziggler by pinfall in a non-title match.

They had a backstage interview with Kane about AJ's smiling at him on Raw.  Kane didn't really answer.

Antonio Cesaro defeated Jey Uso by pinfall.  Aksana was ringside.

World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus defeated Kane in a non-title match due to DQ when Alberto Del Rio interfered.  Del Rio attacked Sheamus to cause the DQ.  Kane got back in the ring and went after Del Rio but was distracted by AJ who was on the ramp.  Sheamus cleared the ring of Kane to close the show out.
