Nude Vickie Guerrero eBay Scandal?

On this past Friday's edition of Smackdown Triple H got on with his usual ribbing of the overweight General Manager of Smackdown, Vickie Guerrero. His bit even included mention of nude Vickie photos on eBay, which most fans might have taken as a joke. Hunter mentioned that someone named ChavoG had been bidding on them as well. There was a heated exchange backstage later involving Big Show, Edge and Vickie, with Big Show claiming he had seen the photos on eBay. Edge took offense and the two got in each others' faces, causing Big Show to walk out on Edge during their tag match later. Many fans have realized there's actual Vickie photos tied into the story online, but (luckily) they're not nudes. WWE.com has posted "censored" versions of the alleged photos on its website. The exclusive Vickie Guerrero photos can be seen at WWE.com, complete with black boxes and bars in the appropriate spots. View at your own risk, depending on how you feel about Vickie.

Also according to WWE.com, Great Khali won the auction by outbidding Chavo at the last minute. WWE hints that WWE Mobile AT&T users can find out his plans for the photos by being subscribed to WWE Ringside. Something tells me Vickie ends up on the receiving end of a sloppy kiss from Khali.

So while there's no real nude Vickie photos, many wrestling fans have still been searching for them. This looks to be yet another publicity stunt gone viral, with WWE using the internet and wrestling fan hysteria to generate buzz. Once again though, a suggestion to WWE may be to make sure more fans can see Smackdown on its new channel. The MyNetworkTV channel is only available to select cable packages, while the CW Network was much more available to fans. Then again this latest stunt may drive fans to beat down the doors of their cable companies demanding that MyNetworkTV is added to their current channel lineup.

Benoit Action Figure and Ebay

A friend of the WWE Fanatics' Myspace, Randy, found the Chris Benoit Ruthless Agression figure selling at the local Target in Brighton,MI. The figure is pictured above. Randy was able to obtain this the day after the tragic deaths were announced. At that time nobody knew the full details of the situation, so WWE had yet to pull references to Benoit and his merchandise from its site. The figures continue to sell in K-Mart and Target. If you've seen them selling in other stores, let me know.

A check of Ebay has revealed some of the top selling Benoit auctions right now are for a WWE Chris Benoit Ring Giants 14" Action Figure which was selling for over $40, an autographed Pegasus Kid photo going for almost $250 and a Chris Benoit Hard Knocks DVD (sealed) which was going for $41. There are fans willing to sell and buy. (Note: I do not have any Benoit merchandise and am not selling any on Ebay).

See some of the latest Benoit Ebay Auctions displayed here at this Squidoo page.
