Best WWE Champion Ever?
Over the legendary years of Wrestling Entertainment there have been many great WWE champions, from Bruno Sammartino all the way up to current fan fave, John Cena. Upon building the latest edition to this site, the Hall of Champions, I had an opportunity to review the resumes of various wrestlers. Looking over them all, I can basically deduce there is 1 who rises above the rest; The Game, Triple H.
If you look at his resume, he has held either the WWE Championship or Smackdown's version of the belt 10 times, in addition to holding the tag title and IC title before. And looking at the list of those he's beat, you truly understand how great HHH is. He has had major victories over: Stone Cold, Rock, Undertaker, Mankind, Big Show and Hulk Hogan. That list of names is a "who's who" in WWE Title history, and for Triple H to have wins over all those names is quite impressive. Hulk Hogan ain't so bad himself, but I'm guessing Mr McMahon's son in law has gotten the push ahead lately, despite lacking the household name that Hogan has across America. When all is said and done, Triple H should enter WWE's Hall of Fame as greatest champ in its history.
