A recap of Monday Night RAW from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis...
Shawn Michaels was scheduled to fight JBL on RAW's "Reversal Night". In ring JBL said if he wasn't in retirement right now he'd beat HBK's ass because he makes him sick. Michaels took the mic and said one thing he'd tell JBL with certainty is..Then HBK delivered a super kick to JBL's face, knocking him down in the ring.
Orton went into the locker room and confronted Edge about intentionally getting himself disqualified from ringside on last week's ECW. Due to this Edge was removed from the Wrestlemania Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Orton told Edge that he spoke to Mr. McMahon and that tonight Edge would compete in a battle royal for the final spot. Edge was upset as Orton left the locker room.
Masterlock Challenge - Chris Masters in ring awaited his next victim to lock the Masterlock onto. To the crowd and Masters' surprise, Bobby Lashley's music came on. Lashley walked down the ramp entering the ring and sat in the steel chair, ready for the hold. Masters made the mistake of taunting Lashley by slapping the back of his head. Lashley stood up and faced Masters then slapped him in the face. Once Lashley sat again, Masters slapped the hold onto him. Masters had Lashley in the hold for a good while, as Lashley fought back to stand up without losing consciousness. Lashley was fading then gained a 2nd wind and stood back up. Lashley then brought his arms down with force and became the first WWE star to officially break the Masterlock! Masters was floored by this and threw a tantrum outside the ring, smashing a steel chair on the ring post and then walking off in anger.
Backstage Lashley walked up to Vince McMahon, who was standing with Coach and several security guards. Vince began clapping sarcastically and congratulated Lashley for breaking the Masterlock. Vince told Lashley that at Wrestlemania his man Umaga will break him. After that Vince said he will break Trump's ego and shave him bald. Vince told Lashley to take a break for the rest of the night. Vince ordered Lashley to go with security and leave the building. Lashley began to leave, then turned back and smiled in Vince's face. Vince and Coach then walked up to Maria who was backstage in a red dress. Vince complimented Maria for looking classy tonight. Just then as Vince walked forward, Eugene stumbled into him with a cup of water. Vince told Eugene he made a boo boo. Vince told Eugene he hopes he doesnt have an accident because he's gonna be competing tonight. Eugene seemed excited as he walked off. Vince then told Coach "Get me Umaga". Just then Ron Simmons walked up to Vince looking at the soaked suit and shirt. Ron Simmons paused for a few moments, then exclaimed "DAMN!" in Vince's face.
Tribute was payed to the late Arnold Skaaland who recently passed away.
Last Chance Battle Royal for Final Money in the Bank Ladder Match spot - Ric Flair, Super Crazy, Viscera, Val Venis, Kenny Dykstra, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, Johnny Nitro, Carlito, Edge - all competed for Edge's vacant spot in Wrestlemania's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Superstars must be thrown over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor. Everyone tried to gang up on Viscera early, lifting him up and tossing him over the ropes. Edge did a kick on Charlie Haas early, but then seemed to be injured on his leg or knee. Edge limped out of the ring early on. Benjamin went to toss Johnny Nitro out, but Nitro hung onto the top rope and saved himself. Super Crazy flew at Benjamin and Haas who caught him in the air. The tag team duo then tossed Super Crazy over the top ropes, eliminating him from the match. RAW went to break and during break Val Venis & Charlie Haas were both elminated. Outside the ring Edge layed by the apron talking to EMT and WWE Staff about some injury he had. Carlito battled Kenny up on the corner ropes. Carliton pushed Kenny off and down to the mat. Shelton Benjamin jumped up to the ropes to hammer on Carlito. Ric Flair ran over and pushed Shelton Benjamin who landed outside the ring, eliminated from the match. Now left were Flair, Kenny, Carlito and Johnny Nitro. Flair dropped Kenny on the ropes on his groin then hit him, causing Dykstra to fall over the ropes and be eliminated. Nitro went to land a move on Carlito off the ropes, but Carlito was able to dropkick Nitro out of the ring. Now left were Flair and Carlito who had competed alot in weeks past. The two fought for several minutes until Carlito tried to put a scissor leg lock on Flair's neck and then drag him over the ropes. Flair was able to counter the move and knock Carlito out of the match. Flair's music came on and the ref held up his arm in victory. Just then Edge re-entered the ring and grabbed Ric Flair, tossing him over the ropes. Edge was declared the winner of the match and reclaimed his spot in the Wrestlemania Ladder Match.
Mr. McMahon came out to the ramp along with coach and several WWE staff. Vince ordered the men to take the barbershop set items down to the ring as RAW went to break. Back from break, Vince in ring introduced his representative for Wrestlemania's Battle of the Billionaires, Umaga. Umaga came down to the ring with Alejandro Estrada. Eugene then came to the ring for the match. Eugene was scared to enter the ring and turned his back to Umaga on the side apron. Umaga then hit Eugene knocking him down outside the ring. Umaga went out and threw Eugene into the steel steps, then tossed him back into the ring for more abuse. Umaga punched Eugene into a corner then continued hammering on him, with Mr McMahon looking on from ringside. With Eugene sitting in the corner, stunned, Umaga charged at him from the opposite corner and rammed him with his hip, snapping Eugene's head and neck back. Umaga then stood Eugene up and used the Samoan Spike on Eugene, a thumb jab to his throat. With Eugene layed out center of the ring, Umaga claimed victory with a pinfall. As Umaga, Coach,Vince and Estrada went to exit, Vince turned with a sick grin on his face. Vince ordred Umaga to grab Eugene. Umaga pulled Eugene out of the ring and hit him several more times. Vince had Eugene strapped into the barber's chair. Eugene was horrified as Umaga began holding him at the neck. Vince then proceedede to demonstrate what could happen to Trump at Wrestlemania. Vince cut several locks of Eugene's hair off with the scissors, then used the clippers to shave the top of Eugene's head. Vince took the mic and said after he shaves Trump bald, he's gonna give him a "Billionaire Bitchslap". Vince then slapped Eugene in the face. After some further abuse, Vince ordered the men to bring Eugene backstage so they could finish shaving him bald.
Candice Michelle in ring said she had been reading Melina's recent blogs complaining about Playboy cover girls. Candice said she's a former Playboy cover girl and that if Melina has a problem with her, to come down to the ring and do something about it. Melina came onto the top of the ramp with a mic and chastised Candice for being a Playboy cover girl. Melina said it disgusts her that the only reason Candice still has a job is because she takes her clothes off. Melina said she's turned down Playboy many times now. Candice told the crowd that Melina doesn't turn down much and that she's been under most of the guys back in the locker room. Candice then challenged Melina to a Bra & Panties match. Melina told Candice it was on and stormed down the ramp to the ring.
Bra & Panties Match - Melina vs. Candice - Back from break Melina had Candice in the corner where she was hammering on her. Candice managed to hang upside down outside the ropes putting a reverse hold onto Melina. Candice was then able to rip Melina's skit off, exposing her red panties. As Candice waved the skirt over her head and danced outside the ring, Melina dropkicked her from behind into the barrier. Back in the ring, Melina was able to first rip off Candice's bra and then pulled off Candice's pants, to reveal Candice in a thong. Melina won the match, but as she celebrated, Ashley came onto the ramp and down to the ring. The two women stared at one another, until Ashley hit Melina and knocked her down, then was able to pull Melina's shirt off, revealing her bra. Melina, humiliated, rolled out of the ring, as Ashley posed on the corner ropes. Just then, The Great Khali's music came on and he entered the ramp. With Ashley looking out as Khali walked down the ramp, Melina attacked Ashley from behind. Melina continued to kick away and hammer at the fallen Ashley, until Khali got to the ring. Melina then rolled out of the ring and retreated up the ramp. Khali entered the ring and then held Ashley up by the neck. Ashley was clearly in a panic as Khali yelled at her preparing for a chokeslam. Jerry the King Lawler, ran into the ring from the announcer's table. Lawler then kicked Khali in the leg from behind. Khali let go of Ashley, turning his attention to Lawler. As Ashley rolled out of the ring, Lawler confronted Khali. Khali then grabbed Lawler with both hands at the neck and slammed the King down in the ring. Khali then left the ring, with Lawler laying on the mat. Khali walked back up the ramp staring at the crowd.
Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton - Todd Grisham filled in for Jerry Lawler at the announce table with Jim Ross. Early on Orton tried to corner Hardy, but Hardy used an arm takedown to toss Orton to the mat. Orton tried to go at Hardy, but Hardy used several arm drags to take down Orton and then put an armlock onto Orton. Orton able to reverse a move and do an inverted back breaker on Jeff Hardy, who already had an injured back from last week's match vs Great Khali. Orton hammered away at Hardy in the center of the ring then went to put a Boston Crab onto Hardy. Orton tried to slap the submission hold on, but Hardy was able to reach over to the side ropes, forcing the ref to break the hold. Back in center ring, the 2 superstars punched away at each other, until Hardy gained momentum off the ropes and clotheslined Orton. Hardy with an attempted Whisper in the Wind move off the top ropes which missed. As the 2 continued to fight, Edge came running down to the ring. Edge reached under the ring and pulled out the ladder. Edge then tossed the ladder into the ring under the ropes. The ref turned his attention to Edge and yelled at him for the ladder. Just then Orton, picked up the ladder and shoved it into Jeff Hardy's gut. The ref rang the bell giving Hardy the win for Orton's DQ. Orton turned to Edge who was outside the ring. Orton taunted Edge and yelled for him to get in the ring with him. As Edge prepared to enter, he tossed off his shirt. Just then, Jeff Hardy attacked Orton from behind, stunning him. Hardy landed a twist of fate on Orton. Then, Hardy set up the ladder in the corner of the ring. Hardy climbed the ropes as the fans cheered. Hardy then leapfrogged over the top of the ladder, landing a leg drop on Orton's chest. Orton rolled around holding his midsection, as Edge backed up the ramp laughing.
An exclusive first look at "The Condemned" movie starring Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown on the Titantron. "The Condemned" opens April 23 and is rated R.
Backstage Vince spoke on his cell phone and said that an announcement would "Drop a bomb" on the crowd. Vince said 1 on 1 next week, ECW champion Bobby Lashley will face none other than himself, Vince McMahon on RAW. Coach asked Vince if this was a good idea to do. Coach told Vince he didn't think he could beat Bobby Lashley. Vince told Coach next week he guarantees he will beat Lashley and pin him 1-2-3.
WWE Champion John Cena vs. US Champion Chris Benoit - RAW Reversal night match -
Shawn Michaels joined Todd Grisham and Jim Ross at ringside to watch the Cena vs Chris Benoit main event. Michaels told Grisham and JR that Benoit would give Cena all he could handle. Benoit cornered Cena early and began striking him and kicking him, until Cena landed out of the ring. Benoit went to suplex Cena outside the ring, but Cena countered elbowing Benoit in the jaw. Cena went to clothesline Benoit who ducked near the announcer's table. Cena just barely managed to stop himself from hitting HBK. Benoit then knocked Cena back down. Benoit got Cena back in the ring for more abuse. Benoit with a failed pin attempt. Benoit tossed Cena to the corner then ran after him to clothesline him. Cena able to elbow Benoit, knocking him down. Cena whipped Benoit to the corner ropes. Cena ran at Benoit who then countered, hitting Cena. Benoit able to slap a Sharpshooter onto Cena center of ring. Cena ready to tap out, but managed to hold on and crawl over to the bottom rope and break the hold. Cena fighting Benoit in the center of the ring started to punch him in the stomach. Benoit able to grab Cena and land 3 German Suplexes on Cena. Benoit then signaled for the flying headbutt off the top ropes. As Benoit jumped from the top ropes, Cena rolled out of the way, causing Benoit to miss badly. Cena then came off the ropes with several flying shoulders into Benoit. With benoit down, Cena able to land a 5 knuckle shuffle on Benoit. Cena then went to F-U Benoit, but Benoit managed to drop off Cena's shoulders and take Cena down. Benoit went to put a Crossface Crippler on Cena, but Cena escaped and managed to get a Crossface of his own onto Benoit. In the center of the ring, Benoit had nowhere to go and had to tap out after trying to escape. Cena with the win.
Just then, Shawn Michaels slid into the ring. With Cena's back to him, HBK began stomping his foot for Sweet Chin Music. As Cena turned to face HBK, HBK came at him about to Superkick him. HBK stopped himself and then pointed to Cena, in an obvious mindgame. As the 2 faced off, Cena then grabbed HBK and put him up on his shoulders, ready for the "F-U". Cena then put HBK back down and yelled at him, pointing at HBK. As the two faced each other, JBL came out to the ramp with a mic in hand. JBL told them that they better learn to get along. JBL said that next week, Mr McMahon wants the biggest RAW ever, with 2 main events. JBL said it would be Vince vs. Lashley and then a rematch from No Way Out. JBL said Cena and HBK will team up to face Batista and the Undertaker. Just then the lights dimmed and Undertaker's bell toll sounded, with Cena and Michaels looking around for the Undertaker, as RAW went off the air.

Cena then came off the ropes with several flying shoulders into Benoit. With benoit down, Cena able to land a 5 knuckle shuffle on Benoit. Cena then went to F-U Benoit, but Benoit managed to drop off Cena's shoulders and take Cena down. Benoit went to put a Crossface Crippler on Cena, but Cena escaped and managed to get a Crossface of his own onto Benoit. In the center of the ring, Benoit had nowhere to go and had to tap out after trying to escape. Cena with the win.
Just then, Shawn Michaels slid into the ring. With Cena's back to him, HBK began stomping his foot for Sweet Chin Music. As Cena turned to face HBK, HBK came at him about to Superkick him. HBK stopped himself and then pointed to Cena, in an obvious mindgame. As the 2 faced off, Cena then grabbed HBK and put him up on his shoulders, ready for the "F-U". Cena then put HBK back down and yelled at him, pointing at HBK. As the two faced each other, JBL came out to the ramp with a mic in hand. JBL told them that they better learn to get along. JBL said that next week, Mr McMahon wants the biggest RAW ever, with 2 main events. JBL said it would be Vince vs. Lashley and then a rematch from No Way Out. JBL said Cena and HBK will team up to face Batista and the Undertaker. Just then the lights dimmed and Undertaker's bell toll sounded, with Cena and Michaels looking around for the Undertaker, as RAW went off the air.
