Raw Preview 08.13.07
First off, WWE.com announced that there will be a new 6:45PM start time for those attending the live double show (Raw & SNME) at Madison Square Garden. This will not affect the televised Raw show which airs at 9PM EST on USA. 6:45PM or 7PM until 9PM will most likely be the taping of Saturday Night's Main Event.
- The major news of last week involved Mr. McMahon receiving word of a summons served on him by the state of Connecticut. The summons alleged that Mr. McMahon sired an illegitimate child. How will Mr. McMahon address this news on tonight's Raw show?
- William Regal became the brand new GM of Raw thanks to winning a battle royal by sneak attack. What does the new General Manager have in store for the superstars of Raw this week?
- There is also the matter of the special "coronation ceremony" during which Jerry Lawler must officially crown King Booker. Last week Booker defeated Lawler in a match to become the official King for Raw. Will Lawler go through with the ceremony and will Booker be a gracious king?
- Last week on Raw, John Cena was facing a 3 man attack at the hands of Umaga, Randy Orton and Carlito. However, Umaga turned on Orton and Carlito attacking them both and sparing Cena. Will Cena be able to trust Umaga when they team up to take on Carlito/Orton on tonight's show?
