Hulk and Nick Hogan News


More news about Hulk Hogan speaking on his son's recent car crash, as well as Nick's recent traffic citations and Hulk's latest campaign.

"Celebrity wrestler Hulk Hogan's son got a warning and a speeding ticket after Florida Highway Patrol troopers stopped him twice for driving at least 100 mph on an interstate last year, authorities said.

Nick Bollea, 17, who also goes by Nick Hogan, is being investigated for an Aug. 26 high-speed crash in Clearwater that critically injured his friend.

In an interview given before the crash, Bollea told Rides magazine that Florida troopers gave him two warnings and then a ticket as he sped at more than 100 mph along Alligator Alley, a wide-open stretch of Interstate 75 that spans the southern tip of Florida."

Hogan discusses how his son was not racing, how at first when he saw the car he thought no one had survived and how he expects Nick's friend to recover.

In more positive Hulk Hogan news, Hulkster appeared in Freedom, PA to help launch the countdown to the National Wave, which will be July 4, 2008.. The campaign will involve a national towel wave to signify the unity of Americans across the country.

""There are differences in our country's viewpoint - political, religious, economic, plus different viewpoints on the war - but it will be great if on July 4, 2008, everyone can put their differences aside and celebrate being an American and united," he explained in a pre-event interview.

Arriving at the north entrance of Freedom around 7 p.m. by limousine and police escort, Hogan unveiled a countdown sign that's ticking off the seconds until the official July 4 towel wave 304 days from now. The limo then took him to the Freedom Volunteer Fire Department's social hall, where he signed autographs and patiently posed for photos with a few hundred people who scored meet-and-greet passes."
