Raw Preview 09.17.07
Tonight's Raw comes on the heels of the 2007 Unforgiven Pay Per View (for results, click here). The big news of the Pay Per View for the Raw roster is that Randy Orton picked up the win on John Cena, but it was due to Cena being disqualified. Cena flew into a rage after the match and used the STFU on Orton. Cena's father got sweet revenge with a kick to the Legend Killer's face. Raw GM, Johnathan Coachman responded by setting up a "Last Man Standing" match which will give Orton yet another opportunity at Cena at "No Mercy" next month. Will Orton be present on WWE Raw this Monday Night? What will John Cena have to say and what other repercussions might he face from Coach?
HHH continues to climb the ladder on his way back to championship form. Last night, the Cerebral Assasin overcame some very tough odds to defeat Carlito. Carlito was given a "No DQ" stipulation at Unforgiven, but The Game used a low blow and then the Pedigree to win his second straight Pay Per View match. Will Carlito go after HHH on Raw, or will HHH find himself a new competitor? Will Coach try to further destroy Triple H?
And finally, last week Vince McMahon's son was revealed to be none other than Hornswoggle, the leprechaun who resides under the WWE ring. The chairman did not look overjoyed by the news. Will the father-son bonding and a healing relationship begin on this Raw? Or will Mr. McMahon find himself frustrated and humiliated by the "games" that his new son likes to play?
