Adamle told Jericho that tonight he and Batista would be choosing each other's opponents for Raw. An upset Jericho said he was going to call Shane and Stephanie McMahon, but Adamle said they turn their phones off during Raw. Jericho walked out of the office down the hall and asked Mickie James and Candice Michelle who they were texting on their phones.

Cameras cut to Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler who began discussing how unnerved Jericho seemed lately. All of a sudden, Y2J came storming down the ramp in a suit with a mic in hand. In the ring, Jericho began to discuss how all of the choices for special guest referee at Cyber Sunday are flawed. The crowd gave the most applause to Stone Cold when Jericho began to discuss him as a bad choice. Jericho began to appeal to Shane and Stephanie in the ring, saying they need to do away with the stipulation. All of a sudden, Shawn Michaels emerged from backstage, staring down at Jericho.

HBK got into the ring with his familiar opponent. Michaels walked up to face Jericho in the ring. Michaels said he'd call the match right down the middle and it's better that Jericho would win for him, so he could challenge him after him. Then Michaels said he wishes he could do that, but if he gets voted in he'd make sure Cyber Sunday was the worst night of Jericho's life. An angry HBK then pounced on Jericho, punching away at him, until Jericho managed to escape and head up the ramp.

An upset Jericho came out from backstage with a mic, and said he's already decided Batista will face Shawn Michaels tonight on Raw.

Rey Mysterio then managed to get the 619 onto Kane. Despite this, when Rey tried to jump off the top rope at Mark Henry outside the ring, Henry caught him. Mark Henry then tossed Rey against the top rope, causing Matt Hardy to lose balance and fall right into the ring for a Kane chokeslam.
