R-Truth & Matt Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry

Friday's Smackdown opened with a tag team match to prepare competitors and fans for Survivor Series. In a back and forth tag team battle, it was R-Truth who was able to get the victory using an axe kick on Shelton Benjamin, then covering him for the 3 count.

Winners: Matt Hardy & R-Truth win via pinfall over Shelton Benjamin & Mark Henry.

Backstage, Maria interviewed Jesse & Festus about their upcoming match. Suddenly, The Miz & John Morrison showed up and insulted everyone, before leaving the scene. The two teams would battle in the next match.

Jesse & Festus vs. The Miz & John Morrison

In this match, Miz & Morrison remained hot as they found another way to steal a victory. During the match, Morrison rang the bell near ringside which put Festus into his pre/post-match stupor. Miz was able to take advantage of it and get the pinfall.

Winner: The Miz & John Morrison win via pinfall over Jesse & Festus

Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero announced to everyone that Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H will be a non-title bout. If Hardy can defeat the Game, he receives a spot in the WWE title match at Survivor Series, making it a Triple Threat.

Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H

In a hard-fought matchup, Jeff Hardy managed to defeat Triple H using a rollup pin to grab the victory. The victory now makes the WWE title match a Triple Threat match, with Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov vs. Triple H for the gold.

After the match, the third man who will be in their title match came out. Vladimir Kozlov then took out both Jeff Hardy and Triple H as a preview of the Triple Threat match.

Winner: Jeff Hardy wins via pinfall over Triple H to earn a spot in the WWE title match at Survivor Series.

Amateur wrestler vs. MVP

MVP continued to try to break his losing streak, tonight facing an amateur wrestler from England. During the match, the Great Khali arrived to the ring. Khali was able to distract MVP allowing the amateur to get the victory. Afterwards, Khali attacked MVP. Khali remains on his losing streak.

Winner: Amateur wrestler wins by pinfall over MVP.

The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson vs. Carlito & Primo Colon

After a sneaky one on one victory last week, Kendrick and his bodyguard faced the current WWE tag champs, the Colons, in a non-title bout. In the matchup, Ezekiel Jackson was able to get the win by pinning Carlito.

Winners: The Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson win by pinfall over Carlito & Primo Colon

The Bella Twins vs. Victoria & Natalya

The Bella Twins Brianna and Nicole made their Smackdown tag debut. After finally revealing her twin sister a week ago, Brie was able to defeat Victoria and Natalya with the help of Niki Bella.

Winners: The Bella Twins win by pinfall over Victoria & Natalya.

At the end of Smackdown, The Undertaker came out the ring to read Big Show his Last Rights before their Casket Match this Sunday. A casket was set up in the ring for Undertaker's speech. All of a sudden, Big Show came down to ringside with GM Vickie Guerrero & Chavo Guerrero. All of a sudden, the lights in the arena went out. As the lights came back on The Undertaker was grasping Vickie by the throat. Undertaker threw Vickie into the casket, but the Big Show helped her out. Undertaker gave Chavo a Tombstone Piledriver, then threw him into the casket, slamming the door shut, as Smackdown went off the air.
