Raw Results 12/01/14
Raw results from Tulsa, OK:
The anonymous Raw GM computer sound effect went off with Cole reading from the laptop at the podium. The GM said they won’t let the future of WWE rest in the hands of washed up superstars. John Cena came out to interrupt and made the remark that the anonymous GM and Brock Lesnar are a lot alike since they both show up once a year. Cena was eventually interrupted by Seth Rollins who came out with Mercury and Noble. Rollins and Cena trash talked about Survivor Series and The Authority. It eventually led to a brawl, with Kane, Ryback, Big Show, Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper all getting involved. Rollins and Mercury/Noble were able to smash Cena through a table before a commercial. Also announced during the segment, John Cena vs. Seth Rollins at TLC. If Cena loses, he loses his #1 contender status to face Brock Lesnar.
After break, it was revealed that Cena, Ziggler and Ryback will take on Kane, Rollins and Harper in the main event. Also, Big Show will take on Erick Rowan in singles action.
The Usos defeated Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, Stardust and Goldust, A New Day, Adam Rose and The Bunny to become #1 contenders for the tag team titles. With the win, The Usos will go on to TLC PPV to take on The Miz and Mizdow for the titles. The close saw Adam Rose get into it with The Bunny. Rose turned and got super kicked by one of the Usos, then hit by the Superfly Splash.
The Miz approached Naomi backstage to trash talk The Usos. He said her twerking was good in the music video and gave her a card saying someone in Hollywood might be interested.
They showed Vince McMahon arrive backstage via limo.
Erick Rowan defeated Big Show due to disqualification. Late into the match, Show hit Rowan with part of the steel steps to get disqualified.
Fandango defeated Jack Swagger due to forfeit. Fandango arrived to the ring with Rosa Mendes. Swagger’s music hit but he never came out. A camera showed backstage with Zeb Colter on the ground clutching his leg in pain. Swagger asked who did it. In the ring, Rosa snatched the mic away from Lillian to announce Fandango as the winner.
Rusev and Lana came to the ring to brag about Rusev’s streak of wins and his latest victory in the Battle Royal. They said anyone who gets in his way gets crushed. They brought up Zeb Colter which brought out Jack Swagger to attack Rusev. They brawled a bit on the outside with Swagger throwing Rusev into the barrier. Eventually Rusev and Lana got away.
Damien Mizdow defeated Fernando via submission. The Miz was on commentary during the match. Mizdow won with a Figure Four leg lock. Post-match, Jimmy Uso came down and slapped Miz, warning him to stay away from his wife.
Bray Wyatt defeated R-Truth via pinfall. Late in the match, Wyatt did the spider/crab walk and then hit Sister Abigail for the win. Post-match, Wyatt went under the ring to grab steel chairs to throw in the ring, as well as a ladder. After a commercial break, Raw returned with Wyatt sitting underneath a set up ladder in the ring. Wyatt talked about seeing tables, ladders and chairs in his dreams, as he cut a promo on Ambrose. Ambrose’s music hit and he came out to attack, getting the best of Wyatt including tossing him into the ringpost. Wyatt eventually stumbled away after referees got involved, but Ambrose destroyed his rocking chair to send a message as Wyatt watched.
AJ Lee & Naomi defeated The Bella Twins via submission. Fans got to vote for AJ’s opponent tonight between Alicia Fox, Natalya and Naomi. The close saw AJ toss Brie to the outside and hit a Shining Wizard on Nikki followed by the Black Widow to make her tap out.
Michael Cole interviewed Paul Heyman live via satellite from WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT. Heyman addressed Cena’s earlier comment about Brock showing up once a year saying Lesnar is a “must-see attraction.” He says if Cena stays #1 contender he’s going to receive the beating of a lifetime when he meets Brock again. He talks about how Brock made The Undertaker go missing and Sting would be in a retirement match if he faced Brock. He says Lesnar will eat through the entire locker room. Heyman re-introduces himself saying he represents the power.
John Cena, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins, Luke Harper and Kane via pinfall. The action broke down late. Kane kicked Cena out of the ring and then Ryback slammed Kane. Rollins hit a flying high knee to Ryback. Ziggler hit a DDT on Rollins. Harper hit a sidled on Ziggler for a near fall. The back and forth continued with Ziggler getting a quick win out of nowhere.
Post-match, an all-out brawl started as Big Show came out to get involved. He dropped Cena, Ziggler and Ryback with headbutts. Kane and Show doubleteamed Ryback, but Erick Rowan came down to make a save. He used the steel steps to deck Luke Harper, then nailed Kane at ringside. Ziggler helped throw Rollins face first into the steps Rowan was holding. In the ring, Big Show tried to grab Rowan and Ryback for a double chokeslam, but Ziggler came in and hit a super kick.
Things closed out with Ryback hitting a Meathook Clothesline on Show followed by Cena hitting the AA on him. Cena and crew stood tall to close out Raw.
