WWE Blocks Brutus the Barber Beefcake
(Wrestling beef...WWE says no more Beefcake)
WWE has officially sent a cease-and-desist order regarding Brutus the Barber Beefcake (real name: Edward Leslie) who is now a judge for the CMT show: "Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling". The order (addressed to Eric Bischoff and Country Music Television, Inc.) asks that Leslie stop using his old WWF name of "Brutus the Barber Beefcake", which WWE claims they hold the trademark on. According to the WWE, Leslie stopped using the wrestling name Brutus the Barber Beefcake once he went on WCW several years ago.
Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling currently features Dennis Rodman, Danny Bonaduce, Todd Bridges, Tiffany, Frank Stallone and other celebrities competing in wrestling matches & challenges as they face elimination weekly. They are judged by the likes of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Jimmy Hart and the aforementioned Edward Leslie (Brutus). Official site here

- An inside look at the life of "The Animal" and his trials and tribulations. He grew up in the roughest part of Washington, DC, was trained by Finlay and eventually became a part of Evolution. The book discusses Batista's family life and childhood, his troubles with women, including ex-wives and his daughters and how he became the current WWE superstar he is. Definitely worth reading for Batista fans, it's 320 pages full of insight into his life and wrestling career.

- Bischoff is a guy many love to hate, or hate to love. He's been a bigtime heel in the WWE and WCW, and was the brains behind much of WCW's ratings victories over WWE Raw back in the day. Now in this book, Bischoff talks about all sorts of behind the scenes gossip from a true insider's perspective. Includes his discussion of how Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin made the WCW great and how corporate politics killed WCW. Also reflects on Bischoff's firing from WCW and how he rebounded from it. 400 pages from the man who truly knows how controvery can create cash.
