Where's Maven??

Where in the world is Maven? The last I remember seeing of Maven (besides being beaten up in-ring), was an appearance on that VH1 "The Surreal Life", Season 6. I think it was the one with Tammy Faye Baker or maybe the guy from the Brady Bunch. Mavenford Klint Huffman, he was the 1st ever winner of the WWE reality show (on MTV) known as "Tough Enough" in 2001. The winner got to be a WWE superstar, and even some of the losers get to be as well. (Like Chris Nowitski, who also is MIA). Maven eventually started wrestling on WWE Heat, then graduated to Monday Night Raw and got some bigger matches. He feuded with HHH, Evolution and the Undertaker, eventually winning the hardcore title off Taker (with help from the Rock). Maven held the hardcore title 3 times (back when it was around and always being defended 24/7). Maven's finishing moves included the Halo DDT (Top rope flying DDT) & the M-Plosion (Double knee backbreaker).

Maven probably needed a better gimmick because it's uncertain how popular he was as a WWE star. He was definitely athletic, in shape and had the potential. According to Wikipedia, he was released from WWE on July 5, 2005. During his career, he had brawls with Team Evolution (Flair, Orton, HHH, Batista) and even a victory over Batista and one over Undertaker. He went from face to heel and teamed up with Simon Dean, the nutritional product wrestler. Dean was "traded" to Smackdown before Maven's release.

Upon doing further research, Maven made several appearances for various TNA Wrestling house shows in 2006. Maven was also backstage at the July 31, 2006 tapings of Smackdown and Raw. This information has lead many to speculate we may see Maven returning to WWE in some capacity, in the future. Maven currently serves as a host for a BET show on Jazz music, called "The BET J List".

You can see Maven's official Myspace page here: Maven's Myspace Page.

I also noticed there is maven.org, which is a very simple site asking for donations..I don't believe it has any connection to the former WWE star..
