HHH as Thor?
There are rumors that Triple H (Paul Levesque) may possibly play the Marvel superhero "Thor" in an upcoming movie release.

"....director Matthew Vaughn is going to start work on " Thor," a movie version of the popular Marvel Comics character.. For the uninitiated, Thor is hammer - wielding hero with long flowing blonde locks who's sent from the planet Asgard to Earth to protect mankind.. Mark Protosevich ( I Am Legend ) has adapted the comic book series from the big screen and it’s understood that Marvel Studios are aiming to start production later this year..
But who will play the mighty character " Thor?" Well there is are rumors of two contenders..
Kevin McKidd of the HBO series Rome may be the guy to play Thor in the upcoming film.. Well when you look at the above pics of McKidd and Thor, there does seem to be a close resemblance..
The other contender is WWE's Jean - Paul Levesque, aka Triple H.. Marvel wants wrestler Triple H to play the god of thunder, while Vaughn is dead set against it.. Triple H is a name that comes up in a lot of fan casting for the role, mainly because the guy really does look Thor - ish, but his acting resume is a little thin, so I can see where Vaughn is not happy with the idea of making his lead an actor whose main film experience was in Blade: Trinity.. Then again, Triple H would bring his own hammer; even if it is a sledge hammer.. But which movie does Triple H want to be attached too? Thor, Conan or He - Man? "
Triple H seems to fit perfectly into this role and since he's already been a part of the comic book based movie Blade - Trinity (New Line Platinum Series)

oh triple hhh can definatly pull that one of every time i look at him its like im seeing a barbarian warrior or as the headline says i see him as thor hes perfect for it
I am a comic book reader... two, I'm a 28 year old woman with children and a full time job, not a comic book junkie or huge wrestling fan, however i do know the stories of thor and know that all the wrestlers do their part in WWE providing good entertainment. WWE is an acting career and Levesque does an outstanding job at it or he wouldn't be one of the number one most renown wrestlers in the world. As far as experience, he's been in the wrestling/actiing career for many years... who else are you gonna find to go months putting on that much muscle, which he works hard to maintain mind you, and find someone to fill the role that looks more like Thor than he does? I doubt Marvel would want to beaf up some pretty boy actor with fake makeup and messing with his physique when Levesque is sitting right there, attitude and everything as befitting the best possible role for that movie. Sean Bean of course would be my second guess. However the personality is more leaning toward Levesque in the end. So don't go turning Levesque into someone he's not. You're gonna sulk no matter who they choose.
hi my name is KevinDragonFly 18yr,i am a marvel fan and a wwe fan. Triple H is oviously the best man to play thor. he looks the part and if you ever seen him in action, you would know that he is a good actor and can open a can if you know what i mean. trust me i have seen the guy they casted for thor, cause i am a memeber of marvel.com stuff and he does not really look the part. he is not nearly buff enough. and we cant have some pretty boy playing a god.
