Highlights shown of last week's Smackdown, where Great Khali was holding a championship celebration in the ring, complete with dancers, fireworks and music. Batista came out to interrupt the party and challenged Khali to a match for his title. Khali responded with several "No's" before leaving the ring.

Michael Cole announced tonight's main event would be Batista and Ric Flair taking on Deuce and Domino. Cole asked who would Cherry be cheering for?

Teddy Long arrived at the top of the ramp with Kristal on his arm, and the two walked down to the ring. Kristal told the crowd that Teddy-licious has a very big announcement and handed the mic to Teddy. Teddy announced that September 21st will be the wedding of Teddy Long and Kristal on Smackdown and everyone is invited. Teddy told Kristal there's nobody he'd rather spend the rest of his life with but her, and the two began to kiss. Just then Great Khali came out from backstage with manager, Singh. The two got into the ring with Teddy and Kristal.

Khali hoisted his belt up in the ring for everyone to see. Khali began yelling at Teddy incoherently on the mic. Kristal and Teddy looked at him with no clue what he was saying. Khali yelled right in Kristal's face causing her to fall to the mat and roll out of the ring. Kristal ran away up the ramp, terrified. Singh then took the mic and discussed how last week's celebration Khali was having was ruined by Batista. Singh said Khali demands that Teddy Long deal with this. Teddy told Singh he is the GM and Khali doesn't call the shots on Smackdown. Teddy then told Khali he will face Batista at Summerslam. Just then, an explosion erupted near the ramp and Kane came walking out.

Kane came down to the ring with Khali, Singh and Teddy Long. Michael Cole said the Big Red Machine would be in action, next, as Smackdown went to a break.

Chris Masters vs Kane

The two men grappled center of the ring with Kane slapping a headlock on Masters. Masters tossed Kane to the ropes, but Kane came off to knock him down. Masters was able to then kick Kane in the stomach and put a headlock on. Masters knocked Kane down off the ropes twice, but Kane stood right up and chopped Masters. Kane started to focus on Masters' right hand and arm, applying holds. JBL discussed how Masters needs to try to end this match quick with a Masterlock. Masters able to ram Kane into a ring corner and start elbowing him. Kane whipped Masters to the other corner, but Masters elbowed Kane as he came at him. Masters tried for the Masterlock, but Kane escaped and caused Masters to roll out under the bottom ropes.

Back in ring, Masters got the upperhand with Kane, clotheslining him down, Masters kept Kane down in a seated position with a headlock applied. Kane finally able to stand up and suplex Masters backwards. Masters again tried for the Masterlock with Kane escaping. Masters tried to suplex but Kane blocked and reversed using a suplex of his own. Kane delivered a solid boot to Masters' face knocking him down, then put Masters in the corner to punch at him several times. Kane clotheslined Masters twice in the corner, then tried for a pin after a sidewalk slam, but Masters kicked out. Kane went to the top rope and jumped at Masters, but Masters avoided him and caught Kane in a Masterlock. Kane struggled and got to the ropes to cause the ref to break the hold. Masters came at Kane at the ropes, but Kane avoided Masters. Kane was able to duck an attempted punch by Masters and then grabbed Masters' neck with 1 hand. Kane slammed Masters down for a pinfall win.

Winner: Kane wins via pinfall over Chris Masters.

Deuce and Domino backstage shown talking about their match tonight vs Batista and Flair. They discussed how they are current tag team champs and how Batista was looking at Cherry last week. Deuce and Domino then began to talk strategy as Smackdown went to break.

Chuck Palumbo promo shown with Chuck on his motorcycle burning rubber. Chuck ten told everyone "Prepare for the ride of your life!".

Dave Nickerson vs. Mark Henry

Henry started the match by tossing his opponent to the corner and attacking him. Henry picked the man up above his shoulders in a military press. Henry then dropped Nickerson down on his knee in a slam move. Henry stood the man up who started to punch away to no avail. Henry dropped him to the mat again. Henry then picked up Nickerson and put him into a strong bear hug, forcing the ref to ring the bell for a submission.

After winning, Henry grabbed a mic and pronounced that "the ring is his jungle and nobody can beat him". Henry then said he'd show everyone why nobody will take his challenge. Footage was then shown on the Titantron of Henry attacking the Undertaker who was already beat up in a match versus Batista on Smackdown. Undertaker was shown being carried away up the ramp by druids.

Winner: Mark Henry wins via submission.

Jesse of tag team Jesse and Festus shown backstage in a black suit. Jesse said their mom said when they got their first big paycheck they needed to impress their boss. Jesse said so he bought this nice new tailored suit. The camera then cut to Festus in a very bright and colorful suit combo. Jesse said that Festus has "the face of a true hollywood fashion plate".

Michael Cole announced that Matt Hardy's first open challenge to MVP would be up next, an arm wrestling contest.

Announcement made that next week on Raw, Mr McMahon will strike back.

MVP vs Matt Hardy (Arm Wrestling)

Arm wrestling table shown in the ring. Matt Hardy arrived out to the ring first. Highlights shown from Matt Hardy telling MVP last week he would prove he is better than him at anything, and will name the contest they compete in. MVP then arrived to the ring for the contest.

The ref instructed both competitors to place their elbows on parts of the table. MVP continued to trash talk and taunt Matt Hardy before doing so. The ref stopped them when he caught MVP wrapping 1 leg around part of the arm wrestling table. MVP then paused to wrap tape around his wrist. Both men went to arm wrestle and the ref was about to say go, when MVP said hold up and pulled away. MVP then pulled the tape off his wrist and shook his hand a bit. MVP put powder on his hand and told Matt to arm wrestle. The ref was about to say Go again and MVP pulled his hand away.

MVP began to squeeze an object in his hand. As the ref was telling him to compete, Matt Hardy slapped the item out of MVP's hand and grabbed his hand. The two began to arm wrestle, deadlocked. After a while of both men struggling, Matt slammed MVP's hand down and won the competition to MVP's dismay.

MVP grabbed a mic outside the ring and told Hardy he didn't beat him, because he wasn't ready. MVP said in a fair competition, Matt can't beat him at anything. MVP said he will fight him tonight and beat him. Cole said the two would wrestle next.

Winner: Matt Hardy wins arm wrestling contest over MVP.

Matt Hardy vs. MVP

Back from commercial, Matt Hardy and MVP were battling in the ring. Matt grabbed MVP's arm and began to target it after their previous arm wrestling bout. Hardy isolated MVP in a corner and began to beat him up around the ring. Hardy continued to focus on the arm of MVP keeping him down to the mat. MVP finally backed Matt to the corner and kicked him in the midsection. Off the ropes, Hardy was able to take down MVP again with an armbar takedown. MVP tried to gain control but couldn't as Matt grabbed his arm off the ropes and slammed him down face first.

Hardy continued to dominate the match, focusing on MVP's hurt arm. Hardy was able to drop an elbow on MVP's head off the top ropes. MVP tried to roll under the ropes and sit on the apron. Matt went over and grabbed MVP, but MVP grabbed Matt around the neck and then dropped him down on the ropes. MVP took control from here, kicking Matt down on the ring mat. MVP with a solid kick to Matt's spine and a pin attempt. MVP kept Matt down in a submission hold, until Matt was able to stand up and escape, then clothesline MVP down to the mat.

After a failed elbow drop on MVP in the ring, both men were on their feet fighting. MVP got the edge as Matt hit the mat. MVP then kicked Matt causing him to roll out of the ring under the ropes. MVP went out and tossed Matt back in for a pin attempt. MVP then tried to keep Matt down in a hold, but Matt got to his feet and battled back. MVP threw Matt down to the mat again. When Hardy got back up he was able to grab MVP and then seat him on the ring corner. Hardy began to punch away at MVP then climbed the ropes to suplex him off. Hardy suplexed MVP off the roeps to the mat and both men struggled to get up as the ref counted. When both men were back up, MVP and Hardy went back and forth with punches and kicks, until Matt clotheslined MVP down.

Matt was able to bulldog MVP down face first then tried a pin. MVP escaped and then rolled out of the ring to take a break, walking around the ring and holding his title. Matt then ran over and dropkicked MVP and went out to throw him back into the ring. Matt landed the Side Effect and again tried a pin but MVP kicked out. Matt landed a leg drop off the ropes and MVP kicked out of a pinfall again. Matt went for the Twist of Fate, but MVP shoved him away then rolled out of the ring. MVP grabbed his belt and started to walk back up the ramp. MVP held up his belt and shook his head no as the ref announced Matt Hardy won via a countout.

Winner: Matt Hardy wins over MVP due to countout.

Deuce was furious backstage walking up to various staff asking if they've seen Cherry around. One guy said he saw her in the first door to the left. Deuce walked over and saw the name "Batista" on the door. Just then Cherry came out and Deuce began to yell at her. Domino came walking up to calm Deuce down saying they needed to focus on the match. The 3 then walked away with Cherry on skates.

Batista then came out from behind the door with a big smile on his face. Ric Flair came out next and said "WOO!" as the two men smiled at each other and then went back into the room.

Jamie Noble came walking up to Funaki and Shannon Moore backstage who were joking around. Shannon and Funaki joked about Noble losing to the leprechaun on Smackdown. Noble said later tonight he's going to make an example out of Shannon Moore. Moore said he's sure it's going to be a "short match". As the 3 men left, Hornswaggle poked his head out of a trash can which had been behind them and smiled.

Kristal and Vickie were backstage in an office reading and talking about wedding magazines. Just then Chavo came in to talk to Vickie. Guerrero told Vickie that he knows Mysterio is coming back and he will be the one to put him out of competition for good. Vickie said she'd give Chavo what he wants and said it will be Chavo vs. Rey Mysterio at Summerslam.

Summerslam ad shown with various highlights of divas and superstars. Announced that Summerslam is 3 weeks away.

Shannon Moore vs. Jamie Noble

Noble came down to the ring and began to lift up each apron cover around the ring looking for Hornswaggle. Highlights were shown of Hornswaggle winning the Cruiserweight title at the Great American Bash by pinning Noble. Highlights shown of Hornswaggle winning on last week's Smackdown match with Jamie Noble being counted out.

Noble tried to kick Moore in the corner, but Moore was able to reverse and whipped him to the corner. Noble able to escape, then suplexed Moore in the center of the ring, then kept him down in a submission neckhold. Noble began to take control of the match and tried for a pin. Noble continued to keep Moore down in a hold, until Moore got to his feet. Noble responded by slamming Moore down to the mat and punishing Moore further. Moore finally gained some momentum with quick moves including a moonsault off the corner ropes. Moore tried for a pin but Noble kicked out after 2. The 2 men continued to battle with Noble regaining control. Noble dropped Moore down in a slam move across his knees, then scored a pinfall victory.

As Noble was celebrating the win, Hornswaggle appeared in the ring behind him. Noble started to walk towards him, then Hornswaggle revealed his Cruiserweight belt around his waist. Noble tried to chase Hornswaggle who rolled out of the ring and started to go underneath. Noble tried to reach down through the apron cover and grab Hornswaggle. Hornswaggle came back out with Noble still looking under the apron cover. Hornswaggle held a pie in his hand. Hornswaggle then smashed the cream pie in Noble's face and crawled back under the ring. A furious Noble went outside the ring to the other side and lifted up the apron cover. Just then, Hornswaggle sprayed a fire extinguisher in Noble's face, causing him to fall on his back. Hornswaggle ran, stepping on Noble's chest and went to the top of the ramp where he held up his title for the crowd and Noble to see.

Winner: Jamie Noble wins via pinfall over Shannon Moore

Highlights shown of last week's mixed tag team win by Jimmy Wang Yang and Torrie Wilson over Kenny Dykstra and Victoria.

Jimmy Wang Yang (w/Torrie) vs. Kenny Dykstra (w/Victoria)

Torrie came out in a cowgirl outfit holding a long rope, she pulled the rope out and at the end was Yang who came out from backstage. Victoria served as corner girl support for Dykstra giving him a water bottle before the match.

Dykstra started off hte match by knocking down Yang then taunting him. Yang able to get up and take down Dykstra in a neckhold. Yang able to flip off the corner ropes onto Dykstra, causing Dykstra to land against the ropes. Yang clotheslined Dykstra over the ropes outside of the ring, then leapt over the ropes onto Dykstra. When both men got back into the ring, Dykstra was able to gain control, dropping a leg on Yang and then slamming him down. Torrie urged the crowd to root Yang on. Kenny continued to dominate and tried for pin attempts. Dykstra hung Yang upside down in the corner and started hammering away at him. With the ref distracted by Dykstra, Vctoria hit Yang who was still hanging upside down. Torrie went over to go after Victoria, until Kenny left the ring to intervene, chasing Torrie back to the other side. When Dykstra returned to the ring, Yang was able to take control and dropkicked him down. Yang climbed to the top rope and flew off in a bodyslam/splash move on Dykstra.

Afterwards, Yang appeared to keep clutching at his abdomen as if hurt. The two men battled with Yang finally climbing the ropes. Yang was able to climb the ropes and moonsault off onto Dykstra for the pinfall victory. After the win Torrie got into the ring and gave Yang a kiss on the cheek.

Winner: Jimmy Wang Yang wins via pinfall over Kenny Dykstra.

Deuce and Domino shown walking backstage with Cherry. The tag team champs and their valet then got into a white convertible to drive out for their upcoming match. Deuce still upset at Cherry yelling back at her.

Michelle McCool shown running and throwing a football at the beach and then shown sipping a drink as she suntanned by the pool. Michelle then said "I'm Michelle McCool and I'm loving life!".

Batista and Ric Flair vs. Deuce & Domino

Duece, Domino and Cherry rolled out onto the top of the ramp in a white convertible. Deuce got out and angrily told Cherry to get out. When they got into the ring Deuce told Cherry to keep her eyes on him only. Just then Ric Flair came down to the ring. Batista came out next to a roaring crowd and pyrotechnics display at the top of the ramp.

Batista started off against an already angry Deuce, who started to punch away at Batista. Batista kicked Deuce out of the corner then took control, elbowing him down hard off the ropes. Batista slammed Deuce to the corner where Flair was and tagged him in. Flair continued to beat up Deuce more, tossing him around the ring and focusing on the left arm. Batista tagged back in to continue the work on Deuce, keeping him down in an armhold. When they got back to their feet, Deuce was able to knee Batista in the stomach and then tag in Domino.

Domino able to regain control when Batista tagged in Flair for a doubleteam. Domino escaped Flair's attack and began to beat him up around the ring. The tag champs isolated Flair in their corner where they doubleteamed him. Flair finally started to chop back at Domino, but Domino threw Nature Boy to the ropes and took him down. Smackdown headed to a commercial with Flair and Domino both down on the mat.

Back from commercial, Batista was in the ring and slamming down Deuce. Batista took control of the match knocking Deuce down off the ropes, then tagged Flair in to work on him. Flair locked a Figure Four on Deuce who started struggling, but Domino came in for the save, breaking things up. Deuce crawled over to Domino who came in and took control over Flair. Deuce and Domino doubleteamed Flair with a move as Cherry looked on from outside. Flair tried to go over to tag Batista with Deuce yelling at the ref. Flair fell to the mat before he could tag and Deuce began to beat him up more. The tag champs continued to tag in and out and kept control over Flair while keeping him away from Batista. Flair was visibly bleeding near his left eye as Deuce and Domino continued to beat him up.

With he and Domino down, Flair finally able to roll over and tag in Batista. Domino managed to also tag in Deuce. Batista came into the ring and started to take down both Deuce and Domino then signaled for a finisher. Batista prepared fpr a Batista Bomb on Deuce, but just then Khali's music came on and Khali appeared on the ramp with Singh. The two men started to walk to the ring as Batista shoved Deuce away and stared at Khali. Deuce came up behind Batista and knocked him down, and the tag champs then doubleteamed him. Duece and Domino sat Batista up then delivered a kick to his face off the ropes. Batista rolled out of the ring hurting from the attack.

Khali then got into the ring and threw Flair across the ring. Khali put his hand like a claw on Flair's forehead and started to squeeze. Khali continued to squeeze and then threw Flair down to the mat. Khali left the ring as Batista rolled in to check on Flair. Khali posed with his belt overhead from the ramp as Batista stared out of the ring at him enraged.

Winners: The ref called for the match to stop as Deuce and Domino were doubleteaming Batista.
