Top Gifts for the WWE Fan

With Christmas now officially two weeks away from us, you may be in a rush or crunch to figure out what to get for the WWE fan(s) on your list. While merchandise is always nice such as T-shirts, posters and trading cards, the following gifts may have a more lasting impression on that special WWE fan you have to purchase for.

5 Gift Ideas for the WWE Fan:

5)WWE Books - There's two benefits to reading for the WWE fan: first they are gaining insight into their favorite wrestling superstars and the WWE, and second it's a learning experience. Recent offerings from Chris Jericho and Batista as well as previous books by Mick Foley and Eric Bischoff are perfect for a fan to learn the ins, outs and behind the scenes stories of their favorite stars in wrestling.

4) WWE CD's -
The music of the WWE is what pumps up the fans and brings the wrestlers out. Over the years there's been tons of classic and catchy entrance songs as well as superstar-performed music. The most current offering is Lillian Garcia's album, Quiero Vivir!, and in the past other superstars have tried a hand at performing songs (some with not the best results). There's been over 10 albums released in WWE history. The Best of Raw soundtrack is the latest which celebrates the great entrance songs featured on Raw in its 15 years. WWE music will allow the fan on your list to remember matches, superstar entrances and their favorite stars or events they have attended making it a timeless gift.

3) WWE DVD's - These fall into 2 categories, there are the DVD's covering the wrestling superstars and industry stories, or the movies that several WWE stars have starred in. Most fans may enjoy the former, as they get to watch matches and relive historic WWE moments, but you may also have fans on your list who enjoy the non-wrestling actor jobs done by Kane, John Cena or Stone Cold Steve Austin. DVD's can be watched over and over and give a fan plenty of enjoyment as they see WWE action or WWE released movies.

2)WWE Video Games - The latest installment in the very popular wrestling video game series is WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. This one's available on almost all gaming platforms you can imagine from Playstation 3 to Nintendo Wii, DS, PSP and Xbox 360. Early owners of the game have praised its fun-filled value, as you can have all sorts of matches, tournaments, and even create your own wrestlers to make their way through a season of action. Also offers gamers online play to compete against friends and many more features. These guys may not last quite as long as a DVD, CD or book but they do offer hours of enjoyment and a good bit of realistic wrestling experience in video game form.

1) WWE Tickets - Nothing beats the excitement of seeing a live WWE show for a fan. The events are always fun-filled and full of surprises, especially if it's Raw, Smackdown, ECW or a Pay Per View. Wrestlemania would be the ultimate gift, but the other shows are just as fun to be a part of, when they hit your area. Ticketmaster is the secure way to go, or you can try your luck with an Ebay deal. Be forewarned that Ebay purchases can be risky transactions if the seller is scamming people. The prices may also run higher. Also pay attention to any local scalping laws for your state or area.

So while many fans might want a date with a Diva or wrestler, the above ideas are much more practical. From CD's, DVD's and books to the top selling wrestling video game or tickets for a live show, you can't go wrong buying for the WWE fan on your list. May all fans enjoy a Happy and Safe Holidays season...
