Smackdown Preview 02.22.08

Tonight's Smackdown comes on the heels of the No Way Out Pay Per View. During the event, the Undertaker emerged victorious from the Elimination Chamber against 5 other superstars. Taker will now go on to face the World Heavyweight champ, Edge, at Wrestlemania 24. Edge successfully defended his title by defeating Rey Mysterio at the PPV as well. Now Edge and Undertaker will look to set the stage for their main event match in the weeks to come.

Batista will face US Champion MVP in a repeat match following this past Sunday's elimination Chamber. Batista was the runner-up in the match. These two wrestlers also faced off a week ago on Smackdown in a great match. Batista gained the upperhand with the victory there as well. Who will win their next confrontation?

ECW's Shelton Benjamin will face Smackdown's Jimmy Wang Yang in a Qualifying match for Wrestelmania 24's Money in the Bank match. Shelton is no stranger to the Money in the Bank ladder match as he's been involved before. Jimmy Wang Yang would be great in the WM24 event as he's no stranger to high flying competitions. Who will be the next wrestler to join Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy in the Wrestlemania 24 event?

Rey Mysterio will also address his hometown crowd in San Diego on tonight's show. Mysterio has now lost two straight World Heavyweight title opportunities?
