No Way Out 2008 Results

No Way Out 2008 is officially in the history books. We now have the title holders and contenders set for the main event matches at Wrestlemania 24! Also tonight's Pay Per View saw Ashley and Maria visit the Playboy mansion, plus the return of former WWE wrestler, The Big Show! Here's full match by match results from the Pay Per View.

CM Punk vs. Chavo Guerrero
ECW Title

CM Punk seemed in control of the match and went for the hurricanrana from the top rope. Chavo held on to the corner ropes and Punk fell on his back. Chavo was able to hit a huge frogsplash off the corner to collect the clean pinfall victory and keep his title.

Winner: Chavo Guerrero wins via pinfall over CM Punk to retain the ECW title.

Smackdown Elimination Chamber

In the first of two brutal chamber matches, six men from ECW/Smackdown gave it their all. It came down to the two familiar foes as Batista faced off against Undertaker. Batista had Undertaker beat up, but Taker managed to counter a move so that he could hit the Tombstone Piledriver. Undertaker wins via pinfall and goes to Wrestlemania 24!

The Undertaker wins the Elimination chamber by pinning Batista. Undertaker will challenge for the World Heavyweight title at Wrestlemania 24.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Ric Flair
Career Threatening Match

With Flair's WWE wrestling career on the line, The Nature Boy had to pull out a win. Flair went for the Figure Four once, but Mr. Kennedy tried to roll him up for a pinfall. Flair escaped a 2 count and locked in the Figure Four causing Kennedy to tap out! Flair lives to wrestle another day!

Winner: Ric Flair wins via submission over Mr. Kennedy.

Rey Mysterio vs. Edge
World Heavyweight title

Edge and Mysterio fought in a tough contest and had each other down on the mat. Both men got up, and Rey went for Edge off the ropes. Edge proved yet again why he is champ and caught Rey mid-air with the Spear. Edge gets the victory by pinfall to hold onto the World Heavyweight title!

Winner: Edge wins over Rey Mysterio via pinfall to retain the World Heavyweight title.

Return of Big Show

Following the Mysterio vs Edge match, Big Show came down to the ring in a suit to announce his return and say he will be a champion again. What followed next was Big Show getting into an altercation with boxer Floyd Mayweather. Show taunted and shoved Mayweather and the boxer responded with jabs to Big Show's head. A bleeding Big Show was calmed down by Shane McMahon who was also present at the pay per view. Big Show was visibly bleeding from his mouth but left the arena with Shane McMahon.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton

Cena had the STFU locked in on champion Randy Orton, but Orton managed to grab the ropes. After Cena went outside the ring to regain his composure, Orton came outside, hit a low blow and left Cena laid out outside the ring. Cena managed to beat an 8 count to get back in the ring, but then Orton intentionally clocked the referee in the mouth. Orton was immediately disqualified and then Cena locked the STFU on Orton. As the ref exited the ring, Cena continued to hold the STFU on Orton.

Winner: John Cena wins due to disqualification of Randy Orton. Orton retains the WWE title.

Raw Elimination Chamber

The second elimination chamber came down to the two favorites as well. Jeff Hardy and Triple H were the final competitors in the match, giving it their all. Hardy looked to take the win on a Twist of Fate, but Triple H countered, then Pedigreed Jeff down onto a steel chair to pickup the win! Triple H is heading to Wrestlemania 24 for the WWE title!

Winner: Triple H wins via pinfall over Jeff Hardy to become the #1 contender for WWE title.

A surprising Pay Per View yet again, as Cena fails to recapture his WWE title. Many were expecting this to happen as it would set up Cena for the main event at Wrestlemania. Don't be surprised to see a Triple Threat match made for WM24 due to tonight's result, as WWE may be looking to give Cena a bigger return win after his surgery. It's also possible there may be a match planned for Raw tomorrow night where Cena gets yet another shot at it. Triple H is headed to Wrestlemania 24 where he gets a rematch against Randy Orton. No matter what, tonight's Pay Per View will merely be the set up for the biggest Pay Per View of the Year, Wrestlemania which is just a month and a half away!

Thank God Cena didn't win that would have been the biggest bull crap. But I bet they do try a triple threat match at Mania.
