2008 One Night Stand Results

The WWE's One Night Stand Pay-Per-View is officially ended. Tonight's WWE PPV saw blood drawn, bodies broken and wrestlers pushed to their absolute limits! Not only were the WWE and World Heavyweight titles on the line, but so was the Undertaker's WWE career! Here's the full match by match results and recaps from each of the event's extreme rules contests.

Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga
Falls Count Anywhere

The ultimate WWE daredevil, Falls counted anywhere in this match and the fight went everywhere, including outside! Jeff Hardy, once again landed an impressive high-flying move in this one. Hardy climbed to the top of a WWE production truck and was able to hit the Swanton Bomb on Umaga outside! The cameras showed both wrestlers on the pavement with Hardy taking the pinfall for the win!

Winner: Jefff Hardy wins via pinfall over Umaga.

CM Punk, Morrison, Chavo, Dreamer & Big Show
5 Man Singapore Cane match
Winner is #1 Contender for ECW title

The man who entered himself into this all-out brawl was standing tall at the end. Big Show one again decimated all of his opponents in the ring. Show was left with Tommy Dreamer in the ring, after knocking down all other opponents. Big Show used a chokeslam on Dreamer then stood him up in the corner. Big Show appeared to be clapping for Dreamer out of respect, then took a Singapore Cane and cracked him on the head with it to score the pin!

Winner: Big Show wins the Singapore Cane match by pinning Tommy Dreamer. Big Show is #1 contender for Kane's ECW title at Night of Champions.

John Cena vs. JBL
First Blood Match

First man to draw blood on his opponent takes this one. In the match, JBL used a chain to punch Cena, but missed on another attempt which allowed Cena to hit the F U! JBL and Cena both staggered to their feet after the move, and JBL was able to boot Cena into the ropes. With Cena tangled in the ropes, JBL went to the outside to retrieve a whip. JBL went at his opponent but Cena got in a low blow then grabbed the chain to choke JBL. JBL began bleeding from the mouth giving Cena the victory!

Winner: John Cena wins the First Blood Match over JBL.

Melina vs. Beth Phoenix
I Quit Match

Both divas gave it their all, but the Glamazon dominated yet another opponent here. Melina tried everything she could including a Cross Armbreaker. Beth was able to show her impressive strength and lifted Melina up from the hold, then slammed her down. Beth then locked in her submission hold she's used on recent episodes of Raw, similar to a surfboard submission. Beth locked the hold on Melina even tighter than usual forcing the diva to yell "I Quit!"

Winner: Beth Phoenix wins the I Quit match over Melina.

Shawn Michaels vs. Batista
Stretcher Match

The Animal Batista was a man of his word in this match as he hurt Michaels bad enough to win it. As both men put their bodies on the line here, Batista brought the steel steps into play. After a vicious Spine Buster of HBK onto the steps, Batista put Michaels onto the strecher and wheeled him across the line to win the match.

Winner: Batista wins the Stretcher Match over Shawn Michaels.

Randy Orton vs. Triple H
WWE title
Last Man Standing Match

The unfortunate news in this match is that Randy Orton may have a broken collarbone. In the match, Orton used the steel steps to nail Triple H in the ring, then eventually tries for the RKO. Triple H countered the move and tossed Orton over the top rope. With Orton outside the ring, the Game goes outside and retrieves his signature sledgehammer from under the ring. After leveling Orton with the sledgehammer, Orton was unable to get up before the ref's count, leaving Triple H the last man standing! After the match WWE officials and refs checked on Orton, who was helped to the back with what appears to be a broken collarbone.

Winner: Triple H wins the Last Man Standing Match over Randy Orton to retain the WWE title.

Edge vs. Undertaker
World Heavyweight Title
Tables, Ladders & Chairs match

Not only was the World Heavyweight title on the line here, but Undertaker's WWE career! With help from La Familia, Edge had the advantage here. As Undertaker started to climb the ladder for the belt, Chavo Guerrero and Bam Neely interfered. As they tried to use steel chairs on Taker, he countered and hit both men with chairs. Taker started up the ladder again, but this time Edge took the opportunity to shove the ladder. Undertaker went flying and landed throw four tables outside the ring! With Taker down outside the ring and not moving, Edge climbed up the ladder slowly then grabs the World Heavyweight title!

Winner: Edge wins the TLC match and becomes new World Heavyweight champion. Undertaker is banished from WWE per Vickie Guerrero's added stipulation.

Quite an event here with wrestlers putting everything on the line including their bodies and careers. We'll now see Big Show challenge Kane for the ECW title at Night of Champions. Edge is your new World Heavyweight champ and Undertaker must leave the WWE! Congratulations to all of tonight's winners.. Tune into Raw on Monday night at 9PM EST on USA for all the fallout from this one, to see who's still able to compete!
