Smackdown Preview 05.30.08
On the final Smackdown before One Night Stand, the WWE has aptly titled the episode "Get the gold or go home!" Referring to the Undertaker, the Phenom has to win the World Heavyweight title this weekend at the Pay Per View. If he doesn't defeat Edge in their Tables, Ladders & Chairs match for the title, the Undertaker will be banished from WWE, forever. Smackdown GM Vickie Guerrero made the ruling to once again make Taker's life even more of a living hell. How will Edge, Vickie and Undertaker prepare for the upcoming extreme rules match which is just a few days away? Will Undertaker or Edge be standing tall as Smackdown ends?
Another Smackdown superstar involved in the WWE's One Night Stand Pay Per View will be the Animal Batista. Batista is still seeking retribution against Shawn Michaels who admitted to faking a leg injury during their previous PPV match. Michaels has since gone on to defeat Chris Jericho at Judgment Day. After Batista defeated Chris Jericho in a match for the opportunity to face Shawn Michaels, former Raw General Manager William Regal ordered the match to be a "Stretcher Match". As Batista prepares for this brutal contest against HBK who will he unleash his aggression against on Smackdown?
Several Smackdown superstars are also on a roll. Deuce & Domino seem to be back to their winning ways after ditching WWE Diva Cherry and adding Maryse as their ringside manager. Vladimir Kozlov continues to dominate, but has yet to face the upper eschelon of Smackdown talent. Natalya also continues to win her matches against the rest of the WWE Divas, but may be on a collision course for the All-American diva,
Michelle McCool. Both divas have been displaying a submission move as their finisher, but have yet to see who can make the other tap. How will these WWE superstars fare on the latest Smackdown?
